This attack I wanted to highlight the facts on the bag EAR carried with him at times and other times not. I started to think he had a few of theses bags he stashed in bushes near attack or prowling sites in neighborhoods he stalked. Like the one a neighbor found in Sacramento County and was told to throw it away when they called the Sheriff's Department. During this attack in Stockton the husband could hear a bag rattle with equipment inside when the assailant walked around, especially when he set it down; at these moments, EAR would place a gun to the husband’s head and cocked it. At some point the victim had actually seen the assailant’s carry bag. It was like a doctor’s bag. Does anyone know of a doctor's bag taken prior to this attack on Sept, 1977? If not how did he have access to one? maybe part of the thinking of LE and the medical field maybe directly related to this observation by the victim?
Both of the victims heard a thud and thought the doctor bag had cans inside of it. They thought it might have been an old style doctor bag, not sure who they would know that I know they owned a local business and I can't find a medical connection for them.
This attack has other odd facts, the victim thought he had a rubber penis attached to his waist. It was also where the 6 Year old girl Saw him and stated seeing a belt that had gun holster on the left side and a sword on the right side. She also said he had the two revolver belt buckle and the bull tattoo and a large black ring on the right hand. The Victim also felt a small holster on the belt that might fit a beeper, is this more medical proof?
The victims also heard a Volkswagen start up when EAR left.
I wanted to give the medical angle one last hurrah, with any answers or comments I have written above, before I put it to rest for good.
Did the report indicate the victim heard any kind of sound like a beep? Or just that she felt something that she compared to a pager holster? Does it mention victim's occupation?
