I dont think anything is easy concerning this case. After forty years. But it seems too convenient that after a five year hiatus, the earons rears his ugly head and murders a person who is considering bringing criminal charges against a military man who worked at El Toro, MCAS.
Obviously the serial killer had returned to Southern California from wherever he'd been. What's really odd is that he tip-toed around Los Angeles County and didn't commit any crimes there. Obviously that holds significance for him. Perhaps he was raised there and didn't want to be in the Los Angeles Times and on the evening news, didn't want to be recognized by family, friends, neighbors, and classmates.
Welcome to the board.
I am not sure if I am missing your point about the DNA. In regards to the "dna ruling out other suspects including military", I dont know what you are saying. Are you saying the "military" is cleared? Or just the alleged marine rapist? If it is the alleged marine rapist, I have read that he was cleared via dna. Are you suggesting that this avenue of research is therefor at an end? It seems very little investigation has been put forth into this matter. At least very little here on the board. I have also read that it was very contentious time for both families and their friends.
