If you guys assume EVERYTHING he did was an intentional misleading....why do you keep checking back here as if he'll ever be caught?! You are basically saying that there are NO clues worth following. maybe the show found it worth mentioning because they got prints off of the bike to match it...or maybe the bloodhounds lead in that direction...or maybe it's not a lead at all. We'll never know if we dismiss every clue as an intentional misleading clue. Every lead and every corner has to be checked. Stay positive!
But what is it going to hurt to pursue both avenues of possibility? It’s not that anyone thinks he’s this criminal mastermind. There are legitimate reasons to think he might have utilized misdirection. It doesn’t take a genius to do such things. He is a criminal and misdirection is something criminals are known to indulge in. There is just too much going on in this case to close off ANY possibility. For example: sure, he could have been a worker who stumbled upon Patrice that way, but if he was also in that gated community a week or so before the murders creeping into the house of another couple, doesn’t this indicate that it might not be so simple? We should examine the worker angle but also all other angles.
The Green River Killer had the IQ of a smart dog but was able to cunningly plot and execute his crimes and avoid detection for decades. It’s not lavishing great praise on GSK to suggest he might have figured “If i dump the bike by these cheap motels, the cops might assume I’m a transient going from cheap motel to cheap motel.”
