IF the EAR got smarter and simply adjusted (as he always did) when dna was explained...he may have BURNED the victims or buried the victims to get rid of the body (no dna). For example:I'm aware of one case, where the victim and the car (presumably the crime scene) was burned and left no dna traces.
We can be sure of these things:
Victim is female (probably 12 years-60 years old)
Victim is raped
Victim is stalked
Victim is assaulted (probably viciously, if skeletal remains or body is found)
Suspect (if spotted) white, male, masked, athletic/fit build, short to average in height, size 9-10 shoe print, dirty blonde-brown hair. Exclude any hispanic, african-american or asian suspect cases... if suspect was seen)
(crime scene may or may not be a ransacked burglary or home invasion if he wanted to elude leaving his dna.)
Although I believe he probably changed his MO to avoid capture, if he moved on a regular basis and left no trail, THIS may be the only trail we can create. If nothing less, it'd be VERY interesting to see if we could place our POI'S at the location of other cold cases at the time of their occurrence.
It beats sitting on our hands and waiting for someone else to find him.
List the state that you will research below (BEFORE beginning your search) so that we don't duplicate states.
Then after your findings,
list the State again
and a link to your primary source
Title and link to each suspicious crime that could pertain to this case
A BRIEF summation of anything interesting that could or may pertain to THIS case.
Also look for missing persons or found remains, even if the remains have not been identified.
**DO NOT list any suspect's name here. That's a big no-no.**
If this has been done or moderators don't approve, feel free to thread and delete this. I'm not easily offended

I think that is a pretty good idea but many posters have done that for years and some are still doing it. The best thing that had come out so far of this is the Eva Taylor murder in Goleta 1974. The Eva Taylor murder was discovered by Agent 99 aka Sandia and to this day investigators are not sure if that case is connected to the EAR/ONS series. I believe it was the biggest discovery so far made by a amateur sleuth as far as connected cases are concerned. Some Detectives strongly believe it was an early EAR attack so far i know.
