After I finished "In the Wake of the Butcher" with those pics covered, here are the interesting points I summarized of each victim.
Lady of the Lake: The killing was very "professional", either the killer already performed it on corpses, or he had killed before.
Edward Andrassy: One of the few victims with identity, only he was bound when murdered, maybe the killer somehow knew him? The killer also didn't use acid on him or burn him.
Victim 1: The killer used acid on him, and he was dead for a while before he was dumped there. The killer burned/put acid on the body but not Andrassy, is it because of something personal, or the killer really didn't want victim 1 to be identified?
Flo Polillo: The coal and chicken feather might point out where was the butcher's house of horror, as well as the newspaper.
Tattooed Man: The one with the largest possibility to identify. To me it's clear that the "Tatooed Man" was from Wisconsin Coast Guard, someone also said he was from Brace Memorial Newsboy Home, which belonged to the WCG. I also believe the pic from the guy who took photo for the 2nd victim Edward A. Andrassy, was indeed him, he might also have weird sexual behavior. Not sure why he wasn't able to be identified.
Victim 5: He might be identified as well if they had made a death mask, the killer might have a place to stay near Brooklyn.
Victim 6: The killer's vehicle was seen when he dumped the corpse.
Victim 7: Found in the same spot of the Lady of the Lake, how did she get killed since she was already dead before she was beheaded? Shot, or suffocated?
Victim 8: I believe that indeed is Rose Wallace. If that's true, the other unidentified female victims might be prostitutes as well.
Victim 9: Blonde hair might belong to the killer. The violence was greatly increasing.
Victim 10: Blonde hair again. The morphine was interesting, so the killer had a large possession of chemicals, this might be a source to track him with that. Also Fronek's story might truly be about the killer.
Victim 11&12: Might not be victims but random corpses dumped by the killer.
I think the male victims might just be those who pass through Cleveland so they weren't reported missing. Which was why they were found near the railroad, especially the tattooed man and victim 5. Still the greatest mystery would be the butcher's method of killing, and the blond hairs.
Still, Sweeney fit every traits of the killer beside the New Castle murders. So if those were not the butcher's work, the research should focus on him.
I really think Sweeney is the best suspect and highly possible for these murders since he fit the killer's profile to well. Big, strong surgeon, some visits to the hospital was overlapped with the murder. The Lady of the Lake was killed around the time his life went the worst way. He also failed the polygraph. I don't understand why didn't they just check for his actions throughout 1934-1938, time of the murder, then it would have been clear whether he is the murderer or not. However if those New Castle murder were also committed by the butcher, he would not be the killer.
