I understand your point of view, but it's not realistic, imo. A lawyer or detective can only protect someone so much. The whistleblower program only works so well and the person doing the whistleblowing almost always still suffers severe repercussions for blowing the whistle - say that 10 times fast lol.
If so many people are interested, why hasn't any major newspaper/publication done an in depth series of articles on the investigation and case facts of such a prolific serial offender as EAR/ONS? Is it because people really aren't interested or do the newspapers/publications feel like they can't for some other reason?
You are missing my argument, or i'm not reading your replies well enough, because clearly my point is being missed. You are saying some 22 year old gives a * about what some 70 year old retired man threatens him with? Detectives aren't living in a job knowing there is an issue? Hell if you said it's because California does a job like WI where most of our cops have Associates degrees and aren't as intelligent as one might expect, i'd buy that...however saying they know there is a set placement of a system already implemented would be another branch in the redwood tree of information i'd expect you to deflect. When we talk proof you really have nothing to reply but "do your research," even though i've stated how many states away i'm currently living.
Fortunately for me i'm still close enough to see how full of holes so many posters have here, well including you, team. Married to your suspect, but unavailable to really have them implemented by any research you aren't involved in.
No, it's not my only conspiracy. I also think Nixon was actively involved in prolonging the Vietnam War, that many more thousands of our own citizens died due to his personal agenda, and then he put himself on a hero platform for ending the war while having the blood and agony of thousands on his hands.
I also think the Vice-President and President knew what Oliver North was doing and allowed it to continue.
I don't think a 22 year old LEO would have any idea of where to look or what to do. They also wouldn't have the resources necessary to pursue it if they did. They don't make their work budgets and they don't have access to complete info.
I don't think a 70 year old retiree automatically means they have no influence or power in the investigation. Prior work, family, business, and political ties can run very deep and have a lot of influence.
I know some LE and politicians lie and don't care about the harm it causes others.
I know that some LE and politicians are rewarded more for keeping quiet than for speaking up.
I don't think it's wise to automatically listen to the spiel that LE or their mouthpieces put out about this case. I think it's better to research what they say and follow the evidence trail to see where it leads.
I think it's good to acknowledge that many LE did right by this case and the victims only to be thwarted by people and things out of their control.
I don't think EAR/ONS is the only socio/psychopath that had something to do with this case.
Other people from much farther away than WI have been able to research things about this case and find out that the facts are often contrary to what some are saying is official info from LE. It's not always easy to do the research, but it's possible.
Now, for the types of things some "senior posters" have expressed on forums before about the VR/EAR/ONS cases:
About one of the DAs in the case - he was reluctant to prosecute because he knew he was "screwed" if he lost the case in court and he knew he was "screwed" if he won the case in court.
Another about one of the DAs in the case - claimed the person was followed by an investigator from the DA's office and had their vehicle stolen and crashed when they expressed their feelings about someone being wrongly convicted and that the convicted was framed by the real person responsible.
About a suspect - he was mega connected and LEOs were afraid to pursue his involvement.
About a suspect - he felt sure that person was VR/EAR/ONS and that the person refused to give his DNA. That he had never seen a better fit.
About something they personally had happen - they think LE hacked their computer so they wouldn't be able to talk to someone that may have had information. They find it suspicious that 3 people on a forum had their hard drives crash.
About one of the investigators - for political reasons he was told to drop his pursuit of the suspect.
About another investigator - they think he was set-up for a criminal offense over his investigation in this case.
About another investigator - they think his death and the soon after death of his wife were fishy and they wonder if their deaths were related to his investigation of the case.
About LE records - the records aren't reliable and are used as CYA tools.
About the jurisdictions not sharing info and the animosity between the jurisdictions - they think it might be because they have something to hide.
So, Brewers, all those things were being discussed and claimed even by "senior posters" long before I ever spoke up about the corruption in this case.
