I am feeling attacked on several fronts.    

Sandia, no poster has sent me any private message that would indicate you, or anyone else, was engaged in harassment.  I would be rather suspicious of a poster that said that you, Sandia, did any harassment.  It would take multiple posters multiple PMs to convince me that you engaged in any harassment.  And even then, I'd be skeptical.

Accordingly, your suspicions are not valid.  And as a result I would hope you would be able to relax.

Very few people on this board are as engaged in hard research as you are.

i enjoy your presence on the board for one primary reason....your hopeful energy.  Every poster has a reason....an incentive....for their interest in this case.  Victims and their families have an obvious interest in this case, but I think there are some people that feel for the victims and their families even though they have no connection personally to the case, they just simply give a damn about the families shattered for decades after this guy's reign of terror.

In my opinion, LE is not actively working this case.  There is lip service, nothing more.  Why, you might ask.......there is no incentive for them, that's why....the retired detectives have moved on to golf, vacation homes, and fishing.  

So we must create incentive.........

On that note, would you happen to know to what extant that the F.B.I. is involved in this case....if at all?

TMac - Guessting (and, I think, Port) have said that the FBI was involved in developing a new profile of the EAR + ONS.  Other than that, I don't know.

Agree with you about the retired detectives.

It has to be the DAs that prosecute and they're influenced by this and that, too. The LEOs can't prosecute the case.

Sandia, I think you get grouped in by some people automatically with a few others who very maliciously harass and threaten people who don't toe their line. They have been doing it for a long time to intimidate other people - one of them was the cause of the first A & E board being shut down for harassing and threatening people there. It's not conducive to people joining the forum whom have accurate info and it's not conducive to helping the victims. It makes people with real info afraid to not only post it here, but also to be afraid to contact LE when they see very clearly by the actions of the few that serve as the "official link" to LE on the forums, that they think nothing of harassing and threatening people. Every other main forum about EAR/ONS has been "taken over" by a few and it sure seems like they've been trying to do the same thing here. Make no mistake about it, people are afraid to post and they're afraid to contact LE due to what a few "senior posters" aligned with LE do. 

I think it's a good thing that admin has tried to balance things better instead of letting the forum go down the same rabbit hole the other forums went down.

PC, I communicate with guessting and Port as well as a number of other posters.  I am not part of any group.  I am me.  I very much respect guessting and Port though.  They have been so helpful and have worked tirelessly on this case, dedicating so many years of work and research and are very knowledgeable.  You and Port are arguing an issue.  It is ridiculous to call her malicious, or harassing or threatening. People can read the discourse on this board and judge for themselves as to how you all are comporting yourselves.

The issue is badmouthing a man who has served this country , ruining his reputation and in my opinion putting him in grave danger.  I know this has upset guessting and Port and the man has been cleared by Sacramento.  His DNA cleared him. 

PC, I have nothing against you personally.  We are basically on the same team wanting to bring a horrible murderer to justice but why would I take your word, an anonymous poster on a discussion board, that there is a huge coverup in LE to protect a serial killer/rapist?  Where is your proof?  Where are your sources?

Thank you for your kind words, Star!  I am hopeful, I have heard encouraging things.  The case is definitely being worked.  I can only tell you I am very encouraged and excited.  If what I am alluding to doesn't pan out though, there still is encouraging things.  There are more and more people interested in this case.  If we all keep our ears and eyes open, one of these days somebody is going to spot something.   I encourage people to get involved and not sweep something of interest under the rug but contact the detectives.
