By user request ... these messages come from the old AETV message board.
All threads that existed on my hard drive have now been transferred to this folder.
This is the best I could do with the incompatible Proboard format. So we'll just have to make do. If someone wants to go through the AETV threads and manually make them more readable, that would be terrific. But let me know first, via PM.
Most sets (10 through 28) are how the threads appear on my hard drive (copied from AETV).
The "First Set" is an example of how the wording can be improved to enhance readability for us. Eventually, sets 10-28 need to be manually changed to conform to the format in sets 1-9. But the process is slow going and tedious.
There are roughly 300 AETV threads in this folder. I have rather arbitrarily segmented the 300 threads into sets of approx 10 threads each.
Ideally, the AETV threads should be grouped into distinct topics, but a higher priority would be to make all sets more reader friendly, as the first three sets are currently.
In all these AETV threads, if a poster response seems inconsistent with an immediately preceding response, it's probably because the inconsistent response is to a message from a previous AETV thread page. One of the problems I had was that AETV apparently had proprietary software that prevented all pages of a thread from being copied simultaneously. As a result, each AETV thread in "First Set" is just one page of the total thread; hence a few messages are in response to a message from a previous thread page that I was never able to copy. But for all 300 AETV threads, the starter message from the original poster is always present at the top.
Hope all this explanation is not terribly confusing.
This folder is to preserve these messages for posterity. The folder can be used for research but ... not discussion. Therefore, please do not post any responses in this folder.
Any responses can be posted as a separate thread in an appropriate folder.
