He changes a bunch of details yet again. The story's different every time he tells it! It's not like he comes off well in any version of the story so I don't understand why he doesn't just pick one and stick with it.
I find it amazing that a jury did not have reasonable doubt in this case. I could not of found a person guilty with all the changing of stories with both Jay and Jenn. I feel the DA should be charged with legal malpractice for the unethical behavior and consulting with an attorney on behalf of Jay. Also insuring there was no fees associated with Jay's attorney. Adnan's attorney has some questionable practices as well. Bring me $10,000. CASH to the courthouse???
Adnan may be guilty. In all fairness he did not receive fair trial and should be given a new trial.
I finally got around to listening to all of these podcasts. I agree that despite wither or not Adnan is guilty, there was not enough to convict him. But it's no surprise that he was convicted. Juries are supposed to representative of the public and the sad fact is that they are. And the police are supposed to represent the public and they did. This is just one little murder case among thousands that caught the public's attention because it was turned into a good story. That it happened in Maryland reminds me of David Simon, the journalist from Baltimore, MD who is responsible for the very popular series, The Wire. If anyone here hasn't read his two books, Homicide and Corners, read them! They should be required reading in all high schools, especially inner city schools because they really explain how it all works.
lmao what a crock of *. I'm glad he gave the interview, but one would believe he hasn't relooked through anything, listened to Serial at all, or checked online for reddit/blog info.
3-4pm at cathys? stonewalling police? I swear the bad snow hit around 11-midnight, so that would adjust for the hole being so shallow for 30+ minutes of shoveling, but he (again) is really minimizing himself and his role here.
ETA: I wonder who else was involved in the murder/disposal - since Jay didn't move Hae's car to the park and it was somehow already there along with Adnan's. He also hasn't accounted for the call to Jenn at 11pm to pick him up from the mall. Timeline way off.
nowhereman: If you didn't see Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey on Netflix...yikes. I was aware of most of that stuff but when it's all explained chronologically in great detail holy cow. Those FLDS people are out there.

sammyt: After the new 12-26-75 book, perhaps it's time for a similar investigation into the CPK crimes. Seems like there were a lot of dirty police chiefs around back in the day...

kg: Thanks SammyT. I have to give credit to SammyT for the fact that I am still plugging away on Coe. If it were not for his candid feedback and encouragement I am sure I may have landed in the looney bin a long time ago but most likely I would have quit.
