This was an impressive amount of work. I have a lot of admiration for anyone motivated enough to put this sort of effort into ANY project. The immediacy of technology has made it far too easy for all of us to be anonymous critics of everyone and everything, unlike this guy, who actually got off the couch and did something. I was struck by the uncanny similarity of all the crime scene neighborhoods. Had the photos not been labeled, one would tend to assume the shots were all of the same area. I'm of the opinion that, if nothing else, this site makes one thing absolutely obvious: the nature of the locations of these offenses had great psychological importance for EAR. There was something about those neighborhoods that resonated for him. The context of the crimes played as important a role in the fantasy he acted out as did the victims. And I think that this site illustrates beautifully the crucial fact that EAR was engaging in a complex and disturbed mental script that, if we can only decipher how to read it, will reveal much about who, and what, he is. The rage he acted out against average, middle class, suburban, complacently secure families has the earmarks of a very personal vendetta being enacted against substitutes for significant others in his life. You may think that is already apparent, but I think this site does the best job yet of really driving home the larger psychological factors at play here. EAR will prove to be from a typical, middle class California family. And when we scratch the surface there, all manner of horrors will be revealed. It's been tough to catch him because he does appear so average. Friends and acquaintances will be shocked when he is named, because, like many American households, the public image of the Typical Family bears no resemblance to the reality of what goes on behind closed doors. This site was interesting reading, well researched, and deserves much credit for a Herculean effort. A+
