So I take it is your opinion that the subject mentioned specifically above is/was not EAR correct?
Det. McGowen identified his shooter. He and other Visalia LE suspected his shooter had an accomplice in some other VR attributed crimes. I think they are most likely right. They also thought there was someone else (some LE thought also possibly with an accomplice at times) responsible for many of the VR crimes despite the similarities. They suspected that someone doing those other crimes may have become EAR.
Accusations of interference being run for some suspects (not only one suspect) in the case seem to be credible.
The situations of the case were very different than has been presented on boards and the very partial records that have been passed around to boardies. The full records clearly show whom he identified as his shooter and that he didn't have him confused with another VR and EAR suspect like we were led to believe on the boards. He didn't make some dramatic change of his suspect late in life, soon before he died, like has been told on the boards.
I have to wonder, why was such an intense and still ongoing effort made by some to try to discredit Det. McGowen? All from people supposedly actively involved in the LE investigation from the Sac end of the investigation?
Why all of the differing info from LE whom investigated and had access to the records?
How do some boardies have access to the EAR records when Shelby said he isn't even allowed to have them now and that only full-time sworn LE are allowed?
Why are people (including LE) threatened and harassed when they try to cut through the misinformation or delve into certain suspects or aspects of the case?
Why did they have differing DNA profiles of EAR/ONS and that info is ignored?
No wonder LE don't trust each other and there was so much reluctance to share info between jurisdictions.
