A Reddit user claims that he might have found the EARONS

But at the end of the day this entire story has provided me with three characters, two are pen names and one has a face.

As I followed the story from beginning an overly excited seemingly paranoid person ask that I as a reader of this board 

consider their suspect poi while they proceeded dumping a truck load of information that should be read in hopes of bolstering their claims

and further implicating suspected poi while later recanting with disclaimers that some of the information and photos may or may not be legitimate.

Then this frantic finger pointer seems to lose all direction and spiral out of control

implicating others before everyone finally writes it off as a delusional, deranged person who happened to suffer a

psychotic episode which was ultimately the death punch banning them from this board. We all wished the person well, hoping

they seek mental help.

I'm trying to remember what brought him here to begin with?

Hm. 

I believe his initial postings had to do with connecting EAR/ONS with another murdered couple -- and in the process of the thread, he dumped a truckload of information onto us, that led to the aforementioned chaos. 


Act One: AnonCollegeGirl, writes an incredibly eloquent and detailed article on Slate involving EAR/ONS.
 
Act Two: LOLJENFOZ, who has taken a new interest in EAR/ONS after watching a documentary comes across her article, and emails her about his POI. 

Act Three: AnonCollegeGirl posts a thread about their email conversations on Reddit. 

Act Four: LOLJENFOZ joins the board discussing other murdered couples that may be related to the EARONS case. He also introduces us to his POI.


Act Five: LOLJENFOZ subsequently dumps all of his information into a confusing thread, that gets the forum buzzing. However, he seems to lead us away from EARONS, and later claims that Port is actually EARONS because she used the term Good Grief, which his POI also used. I join the forum as I'd been watching this, and post the holes in his POI theory. Which were later told again in this very thread.  

Act Six: He gets banned.

Act Seven: Someone finds the Reddit Thread from Act Three, not knowing it has to do with LOLJENFOZ, and we return here to this forum. 

Act Eight: AnonCollegeGirl appears on the forum to clear up any miscommunications. 

Act Nine: Here we are. 

Act Ten: We all move on, or.. discuss more about LOLJENFOZ's POI, as I haven't necessarily written him off, more so, I've written off LOLJENFOZ's line of thinking.

No, it was on purpose. His logic, not purposefully, led us away from the topic of earons, was all I meant.

I'm seconding the responses in terms of stating that I don't think anyone is questioning your intent at all.  It's clear you were contacted by the same person that posted here who presented this person as a POI.  In addition, you seemed to use a fair amount of discretion in your reddit posting.  I think the big issue was that a lot of personal information was posted here by this person which is in violation to the rules for some very obvious ethical reasons.  Eventually his behavior went way overboard to the point he was accusing a longtime board member of being EAR/ONS.  Ultimately, he was given enough rope and proceeded to hang himself.

I think one thing that all people who follow the case would like to see is closure and, if the culprit is still alive, for justice to prevail.

Well, someone might still be interested in comparing this POI's voice to the EAR phone calls. If it hasn't already been done? (I'm referring to the presentation video online - by the alleged 'POI')

Good grief this thread was entertaining, what a train wreck. All of this because some guy lost it and began to suspect a Facebook acquaintance of his girlfriend was EAR, sheesh. I read all 5 pages. I'm glad I didn't go over to Reddit and read whatever is going on over there, sounds like a tangent into someone's imagination. So he also suspected EAR was a forum member as well when it was all said and done? That's paranoia. It has to be tough on his girlfriend, it can't be easy to live with, particularly with the inadequate care provided by the VA for a lot of these guys. Like someone else said, hopefully he can get the help he needs.

I'm know first hand the differences between the VA hospitals and the private sector hospitals. In the private sector I get billed for everything, the doctors bury their mistakes and Bill the tax payers for those mistakes and if I need a blanket, I buzz an over-worked nurse who gets it for me when and if he/she has the time. At a VA hospital I'm not billed (full coverage), the doctors are on salary, the tax payers pay for it. If they make a mistake John McCain, Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and all the other protectors of my wallet get in front of the camera and make speeches. However, at the VA hospital when I ask for a blanket, they put it in the Blanket Warmer for me first! A warm blanket is a good thing!

Your post is a bit off topic.  I live in Phoenix, where the VA scandal started.  I live less than a mile from the VA and know first-hand how terrible it has been for the veterans because I've done volunteer work with many of the homeless veterans.  This is ground zero for the problem and it has not changed much for them, despite the national coverage of the problem.  Be grateful you're getting good care where you are, but that is not indicative of the entire system, and certainly not here.  

Now back to topic.  My point was that the guy who started this mess needs help, and it is quite possible he has been given inadequate care.  I hope he can get care, and if not, it has to be tough on the girlfriend.  She has my empathy.

I wondered if Q got started down this path from Shelby's book (page 80) where he references the initials (ie "RMP or PMP") of an employee who picked up a welding hood similar to one used by EAR/ONS.

Same here. I'm not a regular here, and just discovered this thread yesterday, but the name similarity was what really struck me, made me think there was something to this. Was loljenfoz of some ill repute on the board?
