Just creating a thread to post interesting things that relate to seventh day adventist church and EAR ONS
1) Visalia Ransacker started within 2 blocks of new church in Visalia started in around 1973
2) Rancho Cordova started its only church/Sabbath school in 1974 with support from sacramento central church SDA.
3) Sacramento Union Academy a Seventh Day Adventist school is on winding way near early EAR activity
4) The Feb 1974 SLA bank robbery that killed SDA member Opshal in Carmichael left two sons who went to the Sacramento Union Academy.
5) potential links between the 'Excitement's Crave' poem and adventist Ellen G. White
6) I believe all the rapes or murders could have been staged from a SDA church. Do a map route from the locations to the nearest SDA church. Now pick a random location in san fransisco, Los angelous and see if you can do it in a similar distance and number of turns. It strikes me as a pattern. Try doing it to a catholic church a much larger church with many more locations do you see a similar pattern? Try mormon etc.

8) At least 1 staff at Sacramento Union Academy left SUA and joined the Weimar Institute school for 1980 opening year at Weimar's new school. Weimar is the conservative end of the spectrum within a conservative religion. The decision to buy Weimar in 1977 was made at the Carmichael church. Weimar has existed since 1920s or so and likely was an Adventist organization as it was a hospital and kept the name Weimar but I am unsure prior to 1977. Several SUA teachers and staff were there in 1974 up to 1979 but not 1980 when the EAR stopped hitting the area.
The Weimar institute is in Weimar which is near the nightengale murders often credited to Zodiac

Weimar was founded around the 1920s when is around when the adventist church split over the church saying it was OK to bear arms in WW1. This happened in Germany under the Weimar republic.
The faction that split from the SDA church has itself split into two factions both were run from Sacramento and considered reunifying in 1972 in rented Rancho Cordova Presbyterian church on Saturdays for around 5 months.
Zodaic killed Ceclia Shepard a Seventh Day Adventist at lake Berryessa .
Ear eating meat, leaving cigarettes and drinking beer makes a lot of sense if the actual person didn't eat meat, drink beer or smoke in real life.
The Elaine Davis murder involved driving towards an area near Monterrey bay academy (SDA boarding school). This could have been an adult threatening to take her to boarding school or it could have been a friend who went there or it could be unrelated.
Links to other murders and interconnections of interest (could be random chance but its interesting to see how many things similar)
1) The Grants pass murders committed by two adventist women who had also tried to extorted money form potential drug dealers.
2) Keddie murders linked to Grants pass, and Eugene, and chico,ca according to post at keddie28.com
3) Wonderland murders had a victim from Rancho Cordova who graduated high school there in 1976.
4) Gallego couple murdered a possible witness of EAR ONS and killed in Oregon, California and Nevada
5) Random serial murder of prostitutes who was killed in west Virginia recently was from springfield, or just next to Eugene oregon.
6) Zodiac killed SDA and similar PR to EAR/ONS even though different killing MO
7) An international terrorist and or freedom fighter lived 3 blocks from VR epicenter. Started doing dangerous things at 14. Had communist sympathy and Armenian nationalism.
8) Symbinese Liberation Army robbed bank in Carmichael and killed Mrs Ophsal who had a son in sacramento union academy the school at epicenter of EAR start.
9) The 3 murders of 1963 in Lompoc,ca. "Sandy" convicted of 1 and Zodiac considered for other 2. Occurred near Goleta which is near ONS murders.
10) the "space alien" guy with 5 tons of guns....where did girlfriend run to when he died? Oregon possibly corvallis, 30 min from Eugene and an interesting place on its own.
11) The zodiac killer sites talk about the family of one of the guys in the Weathermen SDA educated who came from that area and who's family may have had links to jewelry business.

I just realized the Santa Rosa Hitchhiker murders all happened within a short distance of the seventh day adventist school currently the school is called redwood adventist academy but back in the 1970s it was Rio Lindo.
I mention this because the crime spree follows the few locations that the SDA church has schools
1) Zodiac is centered around La Sierra in Riverside and Pacific Union College in Napa area.
2) Santa Rosa Hitchhiker is centered around Lodi boarding school
3) Visalia Ransacker is centered around Exeter Sierra Valley Junior Academy and the church on woodland in Visalia.
4) Ear is centered around the Sacramento Union Academy in Carmichael. This appears to me to be his home turf.
Map them out. Compare where the school system is. Its too many coincidences.
Zodiac -> Santa Rosa shares the astrology dates and a car to get to crime scene initially on road side
Santa Rosa -> Exeter murders shares a rape motivation and involves cars to move victims
Exeter murders ->Visalia ransacking and murder share ransacking and sexual motivation and violence against women.
VR -> EAR shares the ransacking and strange behavior
EAR -> ONS shares a hitman like behavior
ONS and the 1963 Lompoc murders share the location and one of ONS victims is from Lompoc.
I propose that all of these elements are present in small degrees from the very start.
Wether this is the same person or a team there is a common thread that flows from the start to the finish.
There will be an individual who was present at PUC in the 1968-69 year, was present in Rio Lindo in or before the 1972-1973, was present in Visalia in 1974-1976 Was present in Carmichael/ Rancho cordova in 1976-1979 Then in limbo and then in southern california in 1980.
In fact, the dates match exactly for a student attending the Jr college in Exeter from 1974-1976 and transferring to Sacramento Union Academy in 1976. For a student in Exeter there would be only a few options for a boarding school for the last 2 years of high school. PUC (where Zodiac killed), La Sierra (where the Zodiac struck at RCC), Rio Lindo , Monterrey bay and 3 other schools in southern california.
I propose that focusing on all students who transferred from Sierra Valley Jr High to Sacramento Union should be DNA teated regardless of gender. I suspect EAR isn't that student but may be related.
SDA are very law abiding and have many families were no one has a criminal record and thus no DNA near miss.
