Did EAR kill Eva Taylor ?

Agent 99:
Eva looked very young and fit for her age but she was not raped. A youth had been seen earlier in the evening jumping over her rear fence. There had been prowling in the neighborhood on the street behind her house (I'm not sure if there were burglaries). The killer pried open her living room sliding glass door with a screwdriver from Raytheon and WENT DIRECTLY to her bedroom and BLUDGEONED her to death. He took a costume jewelry locket and wedding rings of very little value while leaving a very costly diamond dinner ring. LE did not connect this to GSK's crimes. They said it was a burglary gone wrong.

Points to GSK because:
-fence hopping
-prying sliding door
-bludgeoning
-steals costume jewelry, but leaves the good stuff
-Santa Barbara sees no connection


A partial blood palm print was left at the scene.  Would someone as careful as JJD leave that kind of evidence?  
This could be his first time bludgeoning a person and he might've made mistakes being caught up in the moment. Maybe he was angry it wasn't his target. Maybe she woke up and started screaming which angered him. 


Has anyone on this board reached out to SBPD before about Mrs. Taylor's case?  There could be touch DNA evidence! 

It's funny how I just saw this.  I can only say that I am 99.9% sure that she was his victim.  I believe that LE doesn't want us to discuss the particulars of some of the cases and to err on the side of caution I'll just say that much.  About the bloody palm print though,  I was recently reading about the Patricia Neufeld and the Joan Virginia Anderson case in Garden Grove and now I don't recall at which, but at one of those crime scenes bloody palm prints were left by the door as if he was trying to wipe the blood off his hands.  At Eva Taylor's the bloody palm print was also by the front door where they think he exited.

Thanks agent99 pull out your tinfoil hat because I actually believe Eva Taylor is part of a series of elder murders committed by JJD in April 1974. On April 9 the elderly deaf mute Molly Sewell was attacked in her Sacramento apartment on I street. The coroner concluded she died of a heart attack during the attack. She suffered a fractured rib and multiple bruises, her apartment was ransacked and she was found nude from the waist down with her skirt lifted up to her chest.  On April 16 the elderly Florence Barrera was murdered in her home less then 500 feet and directly around the coroner from were Molly had been killed one week before. Her apt was also ransacked, She too was nude from the waist down and had her skirt lifted above her chest. She'd been strangled with the lamp cord. Less than 48 hours later Eva Taylor is murdered in Goleta.

Julian M. Ramirez was framed up for their murders, along with the murder of an elderly retired Naval Ship Inspector in 1970.

Hi Murderinc, Tinfoil hat. LOL. There are some differences though. ET wasn't robbed really. Two trophies were taken that didn't have much value while a valuable diamond ring was left. I don't believe she had the injuries these other poor ladies had. One of the ladies in Sacramento was strangled. Eva was bludgeoned to death. Her home was not ransacked. The two Sacramento ladies lived very near each other. Was there eating in the homes of the two Sacramento ladies? Good job on keeping an eye out for other crimes. It's horrible to realize how many murderers there are. It's actually unfathomable to me how someone can harm another person much less kill them and helpless women in their own homes. True tragic victims! I'd really like to know what brought him to Goleta.

Sorry @agent99 you've lost me. Are you saying JJD's MO and Eva Taylor are different because Eva Taylor wasn't robbed of anything valuable and only two trophies were taken?

No, I believe the GSK killed Eva Taylor. I've been yelling it from the rooftops for so many years. Santa Barbara Sheriff's do not agree, not even today. When I contacted Larry Pool way back when, he was very interested, I gave him the info I had, the contact info for Ms. Taylor's daughter and he took the ball and ran with it to his credit.

More has surfaced and because LE doesn't want to jeopardize the current case I want to be careful to not say any more than has already been released but there is more. But I absolutely am convinced she was his victim.

So, escalation of violence.... even that is complicated in this case. Maybe the escalation of violence theory is not a problem here if he killed Jennifer Armour in Visalia later that same year (Eva April 1974, Jennifer November 1974) Then in September 1965, was he planning on kidnapping and killing Beth Snelling?  In December 1965 did he kill Donna Jo Richmond and did he frame Oscar Clifton?

But...regarding the escalation of violence theory, then if he killed the girls in Visalia, why did he not kill the rape victims as the EAR?

So many questions.  Absolutely everything in this case is like this.  I really hope we get the answers in the not too different future.

Oh ok I wasn't sure why you were giving the example of JJD only taking 2 trophies and not a valuable diamond ring in Eva Taylor's murder since we don't know what was taken from Molly Sewell or Florence Barrera's ransacked apartments from what I remember. Molly was literally scared to death before she could be killed and Florence was strangled with the lamp cord. I'm not sure why Flo was strangled and Eva was bludgeoned. I can't really say why the causes of death are different but it does look like JJD like to switched things up. Whether that was the to confuse LE because the murders were 48 hours apart I dont know. Was Eva Taylor nude from the waist down?

But Pool is right about the elderly being an easy target and JJD definitely targeted them because they were easy. And it does look like there were more elder murders in the younger years that I could find but I don't think he ever stopped picking on little old ladies.

Linear escalation is hogwash when viewing only 3 or 4 years out of context.
