If he made that call, why on earth did he chose the Stockton State Hospital from all there are? What did he know about what they are doing there in that particular hospital which is so far away from his home (considering he lived in Sac)?
Sounds like there is some sort of relation between him and that place. Doesn't necessarily mean he was there as a patient.
There is only speculation that he may have lived in the Sacramento area. There are no hard facts to confirm that. He traveled to many counties throughout Northern California to commit crimes. He did the same thing in Southern California. He could have lived somewhere else from where he offended.
Research on serial sexual offenders by the F.B.I. shows that they frequently travel out of their home turf when looking for victims and they put way above-average mileage on their vehicles. Perhaps EAR was a commuter rapist, commuting to his crimes.
That got me thinking, ive been to California a few times by Amtrak, and noticed how easy it is to get basically anywhere in California by train, probably has something to do with them wanting to take as many vehichles off the highway system
as possible,im think you can also bring your bike on the train.Im pretty sure leaving SF by Amtrak, the train goes thru and has a stop in Sacramento. There has to be some reason no one in the Sacramento area was able to recognize
someone from those composite sketches,i know that its not a for sure thing that any of those sketches are EAR, but they are basically one of the only physical descriptions we have to go on.Maybe he wasn't living in the Sacramento area,so
nobody would even suspect that he could commit crimes in the Sacramento area.Think about it,if you saw a police sketch or a wanted poster of someone commiting crimes in the Sacramento area, and one of those sketches in a way slightly
resembled a friend or relative of yours, but that person lived in SF or LA,you would think there aint no way it could be him, being that he lives so far from the area.Im sure if you wanted to,you could go anywhere in the world and commit a
crime, and unless you were caught red-handed,or left DNA at the crime scene, once you made it back home, there would be no way you could ever get caught,or for that matter even have any suspicion thrown your way ,you hit the area, and
leave the area with as little trace as possible that you were even there, gone in the night,or however he put it.Like someone mentioned in a earlier post about a truck driver, maybe its someone that lives in a different area, and just commutes
into the sacramento area, thats why no one was able to put 2 and 2 together with the sketches. We are always on here figuring he leaves a crime scene by bike, and once he leaves the sub-division or area the crime is commited in,he is home
free, cause now he don't look suspicious. Now,what if we think about him being able to leave the area completely, now he looks completely unsuspicious.Like I said there has to be some reason, someone from the Sacramento area cant
recognize someone from the composite sketches, and maybe its because our perp isn't from the Sacramento area, and where he is from, maybe no one has seen the sketches, not sure how widely the sketches were broadcasted thru-out
California back in the day.Cause until they matched the DNA in the ONS killings with the Sacramento crimes,it was thought he basically stuck to all his crimes being commited to sacramento area.
