Last year's CrimeCon (https://www.crimecon.com/) was an enormous success in so many ways. For this case, success came in the form of an incredible presentation given by Debbi Domingo, Michelle Cruz, Jane Carson-Sandler, and Mike Morford (morf13 ), and in the efforts they made at their booth and with the public in raising awareness for this case. These efforts helped bring the EAR/GSK to the forefront of the crime-solving community, both professional and amateur.
Not only that, but the team made contacts and connections that are still benefitting this case, even to this day.
This year, the community would like to send Debbi and Michelle back to CrimeCon 2018 so that this success can be repeated. Even though the ladies aren't slated to present again this year, nowhere else can these victims/survivors interface and advocate to so many talented, connected, and focused individuals in the True Crime world at once. The return on investment for this is huge, and with the new media coming out this spring, the attendees will be greatly interested in meeting them in hearing about how they can help this case.
A GoFundMe has been started in order to raise the $5,000 needed to get the ladies over to Nashville, where the convention will be held from May 4th-6th. The love and support is so great for these women that in less than 24 hours, they're already a fifth of the way there. But 1/5 of the way isn't far enough, so here's our opportunity to close the gap and send these well-deserving ladies out to do more work in support of this cause. They work so hard at this, and the task is extremely difficult, but with all of us supporting them with our words and deeds, we can all be a part of moving the needle to help resolve this case.
