Good point.
However, the mere fact that once again the name Alpha Beta had surfaced at the time of a crime, is of interest to me.
There was a guy there who a witness believed was worth mentioning about to officers. Regardless of the context, misinterpretation or no misinterpretation, it's worth looking into. I'd just like to know exactly who the guy was and how exactly it was determined that he was an Alpha Beta gardener.
So if a person had that kind of a "lower" occupational profile - in that case: perhaps working as a gardener or some type of an outdoors maintenance man (possibly interpreted or described as "gardening") could fit the said occupational profile as his second job.
Only a scenario.
(I had also the question about how prominent was AB back then? If people were to talk about some market chain in general, could they wrongly refer to it as Alpha Beta Market, in the same vein as some generic cola drink could be called Coca-Cola, even though it wasn't, brandwise?)
