Indeed a question I have to ask is how in the hell could he have done all the stuff the EAR did and still hold the job as a cop in Auburn?

What was the sick leave policy at Auburn PD? Maybe he called in sick a whole lot. 

Maybe when he actually went to work in Auburn, he had a place to sleep.

Unless and until we can establish how he could possibly have juggled raping, stalking, prowling, home life, and police work I have to believe there was another guy doing a lot of the raping in Sac.

Regarding a second assailant, I have worked on a book for close to two years. My POI was from thousands of miles away. We were connected in countless ways. He committed abductions and rapes in the right locales and timeframes, he referred to police as dumb.... He had a five year gap coinciding closely with the gap in crimes. In prison. One composite looked like a photo of him. He is to me, a much better fit for the miscreant than JJD. However science speaks loudly. I agree with end of the world. Very strong points. In my earlier comments I was thinking mostly of the Visalia days. Whether some of these other offenders were co offenders vs. independents is a critical question. We wonder how he could be so active. Youth and drugs had likely much to do with it. I drove transport and if I told people how many miles I drove without sleep, they would be shocked. Not proud if it. I would have a great story to tell if I could link my guy to JJD. There may be a linkage but hard to pin down so many years later.
