Thank you so much for responding in this thread, and we extend you a very heartfelt welcome to our forum. We are so very honored to have you here, Scott.
We sincerely empathize with you in any grief, anguish, and pain that has been brought on you, your brothers, and your family, by this senseless, savage crime.
I have prayed for your brothers' health, happiness, and recovery, since I first read about them, and my heart ached so tremendously, Scott, when I read what they had horrifically endured. Your brothers are true heroes in every sense of the word, Scott, and their courage and bravery are unmatched.
We would be privileged to learn how they are currently doing, Scott. This, of course, is an internet forum, so anything you choose to share, you are sharing with the world, too.
So, if anyone were to Google this case with their names, the information you post here would appear in the search results.
I realize you are probably aware of these issues, Scott. I state these facts not to dissuade you, but to be protective of you, your brothers, and your family.
Please feel free to share whatever you feel is safe and comfortable to share, Scott. We have been so greatly touched by your brothers, we will never forget them, and they are now part of our forum family, as are you, and your entire family, Scott.
We would like to assist in any way we can to help solve this crime. Thank you, again, Scott, for reaching out to us, and, again, welcome to our forum!
Warmest Regards,
Red
Thank you for welcoming me so warmly to this forum. When I came across this discussion, I was amazed to read that after so many years, people still had an interest in figuring out who attacked my brothers and such concern for their wellbeing.
I told to James and Mark about this forum and they were equally amazed!
James still lives in California. He is loving father and husband. He is hard working and very talented. He has played the guitar, drums and sang in various bands over the years. He recently had a wedding anniversary party where he and his many friends played music throughout the night. It was awesome.
Mark lives in Florida with his wife and daughter. He is also a loving father and husband. Mark is a stay-at-home Dad doing the 24 hour/day hard work that all stay-at-home parents do. He also writes poetry and is working to earn his high school diploma.
The attack on them resulted in many challenges growing up and contributed to issues they face to this day. Yet neither one of them has ever lived life as a victim. They are both very kind men who laugh easily. Sometimes… even about the attack.
They are an inspiration to me and a source of strength whenever times are tough.
Thank you all for your concern about James and Mark. They appreciate it as do I.
Thank you to this forum for being here to help people work together to find the evil people who commit such horrible crimes.
