That's interesting about David Sato. I didn't know that.
I looked at Census data for 1980, and only ~4.8% of Sacramento's population was at that time Asian (and that's with Pacific Islander data included as Asian). Also, I don't think we'd have a truly representative sample anyway, because age, sex, living arrangements, and residence type would be excluding factors in one data pool but not the other.
I'm sorry but Sato is a common Japanese name so I don't know why that's suddenly interesting to know that he was Asian. I got ridiculed for suggesting a thread that could only be debated by people truly informed about this case. It would benefit us all. With the influx of new posters it would really benefit. I'm not trying to degrade anyone....we were all new at one point (except for the victims). But, if something educational could be pinned up top, it might help preventing a lot of the nonsense comments. DRIFTER? MORF? WINTERS? TOMBOX? I mean like a lengthy WIKI for this thread posted/pinned up top that gives all new people a run down of the case.
