Yes, the case was life-changing for those of us who lived in the area at the time (I was around 8, the same approximate age as his victims and from the same location). Like EARONS, the OCCK changed our definition of safety and crushed our sense of security. The clues and leads which have come out in the intervening years are as shocking and disturbing as the crimes themselves. What were thought to be the actions of a lone killer likely were the result of child molestation "clubs" and the assumed killer appears to have been someone of great privilege whose identity prosecutors and LE may have willingly concealed. An absolutely fascinating case in all respects. 

Take a look at this drawing, which was found in the home of the individual who many now believe was the killer after his suicide. The drawing closely resembles one of the OCCK's young victims, Mark Stebbins. To me, it is just as horrifying as the "Gonna Kill Me" call which is what drove me to become obsessed with the EARONS case. 

That drawing is infinitely more horrifying than the EAR call. So scary.

The case I'm into big-time right now is the Delphi Killer in Indiana. This is a relatively recent case, and it's obviously a very pressing matter at this time to identify this killer before he strikes again. As a parent who lives relatively close, I'm invested into finding this monster who brutally murdered 14-year old Liberty German and 13-year-old Abigail Williams on the afternoon of February 13th, 2017, in Delphi, Indiana.
The case has a ton of clues, including a grainy photo of the un-sub before the attack that was captured by one of the victims on her phone. In addition, there is much speculation that this unidentified man very well could be the same offender who abducted, murdered, and disposed of 8-year-old Elizabeth Collins and 10-year-old Lyric Cook in Evansdale, Iowa on July 13, 2012.
This man is somewhere out there guys, and he's going to do this again to somebody else's kids. Our kids need us to find this guy.......

I second this. I think the girls were clever enough to even record their killer speaking. Those two were so smart and gave LE as much as they could.

Here is the picture of the "screaming child" as the Police found it on the wall in the suicide bedroom.  In the second picture you can see the drawing hanging on the wall by the door and LE investigators in the hallway, the blacked out area is the suicide on his bed.  The third picture is the victim Mark Stebbins compared to the drawing.  Maybe he left the drawing for the police to find or some people think it was planted to frame this person?   This is Michigan's equivalent to the EAR case.  IMHO

A lot of interesting cases have been mentioned, but I think I'm going to stay closer to home and look at a UK case...

The 'Batman Rapist' who attacked women in Bath, England is one of the UK's most prolific uncaught serial rapists.

I think that us UK based sleuths (and anyone else who wants to join us of course) should put our head together and start tracking the Batman Rapist.

It's a sad, interesting and solvable case IMO.

The serial rapist in utah/Wyoming is interesting as well. Very similar to EAR. Flashlight/knife/gun and binds his victims. Rapes the females in front of the husbands. They think he drives a black camero. He's hit twice in Wyoming and there's a cluster south of Ogden, utah. I bet there's a bunch of unreported rapes in this case. 6 more women just came out recently.

I have read this forum for awhile and tried to piece together the EARONSGSK clues on my own for quite awhile but never signed up for an account. However, I too was thinking about what cases could be next and possibly solved. One that got my attention and has gotten almost zero press or attention that I have seen so far is that of the Oklahoma City Butcher.

The Oklahoma City Butcher is thought to have killed at least three women in the 70s and 80s and disposed of their bodies in a very brutal way. This case is just crying out for more attention and for more eyes to be looking for such a horrible offender. Especially since the victims were seemingly some of the most vulnerable in society and may not have as many people attempting to solve their murders as some other cases.

Is this case still open?

Yes, it's still unsolved.   Just google Oakland County Child Killer and sift thru the info.  Also there are crime scene photos and suicide scene photos of a suspected suspect on google or Clickondetroit.com
