There is so much evidence against this guy, but because of politics, you don't want to listen? Well, how dare you deprive those victims of teue justice. They deserve to have their actual rapist convicted.

Here’s the thing, Paul Holes has discussed how he had suspects that worked in and around all the towns involved in the crimes, who had sketchy histories but then despite all the circumstantial similarities the DNA didn’t match. It only matched JJD.

You can say that they want to close the case but they didn’t prosecute JJD for shooting Rodney Miller, and there were a handful of assaults that had been considered canonical EAR crimes that were not included in the plea deal. If they wanted it all to go away why not let him plead guilty and close them?

At this point you have made unsubstantiated claims and behind the scenes have harassed members.

If law enforcement won’t listen then present your case here or better yet talk to the reporters from the Sac Bee or the LA Times that have spent so much time on this case. If you have such compelling evidence those reporters would jump on your info to continue this story.

However, I think the above post, which contains 2 sentences that literally contain a form of "I know something you don't know" really smack of the deterioration of the interactions at this point.

It was merely in response to another person’s conversation terminating rude remarks. So if you meant what you said Brad, then you might consider the value in addressing remarks that stifle the flow of new information. This isn’t over unless those who wish it to go away are successful at blocking all angles of further investigation. I am pretty convinced there are still some out there who want (need) that to be the case. Dwane does know something, maybe he will share it with you if you ask him in private.

Having a firmly held belief does not mean you are correct, it means that you believe that you are correct.
For the record Dwane has harassed a longtime member sending odd PMs saying that they know who they really are. These kinds of behaviors lead me to question Dwane’s overall judgement.

Dwane claims to have met with LE before the plea deal was finalized which if true meant LE were open to listening to their information. If LE want to suppress the truth and close the case, why even meet?

The person talking in vague generalities and claiming to have special knowledge is the one suppressing constructive discussion , say what you got and stop the games.

I do believe JJD shot Rodney Miller as well as some other crimes that just weren't included in the overall trail. But how much time do you send on hundreds of crimes over 40 years when you already have him on so many life sentences already.

The poster was implying that LE doesn’t want there to be other potential perps , they want to pin it all on JJD. Yet LE did not charge JJD for the attempted murder of Miller and they did choose to prosecute him for the attempted murder of McGowen. He probably did shoot Miller but apparently there wasnt enough evidence to charge. If they wanted to neatly close all related cases why not charge him for Miller?

The DA also mentioned JJD doing burglaries with a friend when they were both teens - again that means they did learn about his activities and people with whom he might have committed crimes.

LE makes mistakes all the time , I’m entirely open to that possibility that JJD may not have been the only perp but Dwane needs to make s solid case for it . I don’t see it here. If someone else committed these crimes , tell us why, show us.

DeAngelo applied to join Auburn PD in January '76. He 'officially' resigned from Exeter and started work in Auburn in August '76.

Is it reasonable to assume he never visited Auburn PD before joining in August? I doubt it. Some have mentioned extra training he needed. And as far as I know only three accepted EAR attacks occurred prior to him officially joining Auburn.

June 18 '76/ RC. (On a friday)
July 16 '76. Carmichael. (The attack on a man in his garage. On a friday)
July 17 Carmichael. (On a saturday)

Given the days of the week these attacks occurred, and given he could easily have stayed with a family member/buddy living in RC, I don't see anything here that eliminates DeAngelo from committing these attacks at all.

My only goal here is to get some posters here to engage with him in a discussion as opposed to stating in no uncertain terms that it’s over and no one else was involved. He really does know something and maybe he just feels it shouldn’t be disclosed because he just wants it investigated properly? Personally I believe there were multiple people involved over the course of the series. Don’t you wonder about rapist Art ‘Pinkton’ turning up with a collection of useful unlawful home entry tools and assault weapons on his person in an EAR hot zone? Seriously, what a genius way to avoid detection. Involve a guinea, put him out there as bait, and then make sure he is tucked away in his bed during the next rape. LE will have a bulk of it’s attention and resources trained on Pinkton or one of the other ‘framed’ players, and the main perp(s) are free to move about the cabin. It just seems obvious that there were people who fit too well not to have played a role. Hence the chaos, the wide ranging descriptions, the secretor controversy, and the lack of razor stubble reports when JJD supposedly shaved his legs. It explains so much but instead we just get ‘it’s over!’ I believed that at the end of April, 2018 and it embarrasses me on how easily I rolled over and accepted the massive number of unanswered questions. If I still believed it was over I’d really have to ask myself what I am doing wasting my time here.

I just wish it were possible to get answers.here. For nearly two years I have been asking if Puffy Ski Jacket Guy and the females behind him are Gerald Gallego, Charlene Williams, and Gerald’s daughter? Independently they each look like those individuals. I have studied the pictures for two years now and this needs to be answered. They lived in the vicinity of the high school where and when the town hall meeting occurred. They both brought up the EAR during their trials and Charlene during her first public interview after her release stating she thought Gerald might have been involved in the EAR series. She believed he perpetrated before she met him late in 1977. JJD, ‘I pushed Jerry out’. But no one thinks it is worth asking and answering questions like this. So what are we doing here if not to shed light on the remaining mysteries? Savoring the crimes?
