A possible Zodiac victim, Cherie Jo Bates, was bludgeoned to death, the device used to kill her was never found. (EAR took from some of the murder scenes what he used to bludgeon the victims with).
Of course I'm not saying EAR was Zodiac. Knowing what we now know about EAR being LE, maybe Zodiac was too? lots of similarities.
I know it sounds crazy, but we never really thought EAR was LE, so who knows?"
EDIT: Has the people who heard Zodiacs voice ever listened to the EAR phone calls and said if it sounds like the same guy?? anyone?
EDIT: Morf13 told me that JJD is not Zodiac, but he didn't say that Z wasn't LE.
