I am back for something I feel is important. From time to time I find new information. If there is something that I feel is important to post I will be here to do so. Last night while going through reports I found a report I think you will find interesting. It is dated 3/10/77. If you doubt this to be true don't bother reading it or asking me questions about it. I will not answer questions for you. Those I keep contact with and you know who you are, ask anything you would like.
1600 hrs. 3-10-77-Written by a detective*^&%***. ****** *****, who worked at the Showcase Lounge a bar in the 70's was leaving her shift after singles night. It was a Wednesday night and her boss had just begun having single night on Wed. evenings. Her boss followed her home to her address at **** College Oak Drive to insure her safety. "She and her boss were standing outside her apartment when they noticed a light colored, possibly yellow VW parked across the street by American River College. The sole occupant of the vehicle was a white male subject. She could only describe him as young, short hair which was cut "not flat" and medium build.
She was not certain if the subject had followed her home, or was waiting for her or just happened to be there. In fact she is not sure why she noticed the vehicle suddenly or how it attracted her attention but she felt she should contact the SSD.
***** was questioned about any other unusual circumstances or burglaries. She related that for the last two months several of the apartment residents had burglaries occur in which nothing was taken. In one instance the suspect (s) killed the residents small dog by crushing it. She herself has had no unusual phone calls or prowlers but does not know abut all the other residents but will check. She is the manager of the apartments and will check with the other tenants as they pay rent.
NOTE:This is the second time a light colored, possibly yellow Volkswagen has been mentioned in a recent prowler report. In the other instance a woman had another subject attempted entry through a garage door and after producing a handgun the subject left. Immediately after the subject left a VW was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed."
I will be looking into burglaries, prowlings and this dog incident very soon. I will try to locate all reports generated during this time. I will keep you posted. g
