He's going to be power bottom.
My husband worked in forensic psychiatry for many years within the California State prison system.
Since JJD is a high profile criminal , as well as due to his age and the nature of his crimes, during and after his trials and for his entire imprisonment, he will be in Protective Custody (PC). PC means he will be in a single cell, he WILL NOT be in mainstream. He will most likely have no access to computers. If he has money on his books, he can buy books, magazines and junk food. He can also buy a tv and cd player and cds and have all those items inside his cell.
I know JJD is and will always be miserable in prison. JJD wants to call all the shots in his life. He wants everything around him to be neat and organized and he needs to be in control of his immediate surroundings. He wants to run the show and he will NEVER run any show in prison. He wants to be able to come and go as he pleases, to anywhere and at anytime, which will never happen in prison. He will always be told what do and when to do it and he will always be watched and guarded carefully. When he acts out which he will, there will be what is called a cell-extraction, which he will fight hard and hate it happening to him. It's where a group of guards all dressed in head gears and full body gears enter his small cell aggressively and grab him, chain his hands and feet, and with many hands on him, he will be led out of his cell for a long time-out in the "hole". While there, he will have no privileges - no reading, no tv, no music, no anything. It will just be him and a tiny cement room with only a toilet. JJD wants to ride his boat and his motorcycle and he wants to be handling his "trophies", which I truly believe are out there somewhere and he is dreading will be uncovered .
JJD will NEVER adjust to prison life. HE WILL NEVER give-in and accept his fate and learn to make the best of it........ NEVER! No matter how many years go by. JJD will always be acutely miserable. And every now and then, the build up of his misery will spill over and he will act out and get in trouble. He will absolutely loathe the prison guards. He will ALWAYS try to manipulate correctional officers and medical staff. Prisoner's JDD's age and alot older, even in their late 80s, still engage in physical altercations in prison with guards and other prisoners.
