He NEVER will because he either can't because he simply doesn't know anything or won't. If he left right now and NEVER came back, we would know the exact same things.

But hey, if you still can't see through it then you should keep begging him how high to jump when he tells you to jump.

It’s kind of ironic that you keep accusing others of getting all worked up, being desperate, and “begging,” but it’s becoming pretty apparent that you’re far more obsessed with him and what he posts than just about anyone else on this board. 

If you and whoever else wants to shout him down every time he posts - or doesn’t, have at it. I’m here to follow the case and maybe find out some things about it I didn’t know before . . . Not to stroke my own ego or try to convince a bunch of strangers on an anonymous message board how smart I think I am.

Walter, your opinion of bassman is crystal clear. I get that. The trouble is you also presume to know other people's motives and malign them for asking questions. What are you trying to achieve? Bassman banned? Posters verbally flogged until they become enlightened? As I say, I get that you don't want bassman around, but insulting people who disagree smacks of moral superiority. Is that how you feel?

The notion that someone would concoct a petty insurance scam after enduring such an experience is ridiculous. Anything is possible but I think that you are perpetuating a red herring.

Fair enough. I just get so tired of hyperbole. I think we need to be fair to everyone. I do believe the missing China is an outlier. It’s a big ticket item and bulky to try to transport and easily identifiable. It’s always seemed odd to me. I agree that part does not fit JJDs MO. I don’t think Bassman was trying to deflect anything his uncle is said to have done. I only know Bassman from this board and have zero knowledge of what he has said or done anywhere else. He may be a disgusting parasite? Here he does seem to be leaning towards the fact his Uncle is what people are saying he is. Don’t know if that’s a conclusion that is growing on him or he’s known all for quite some time and is part of a family disinformation campaign.

I think bass man is who he says he is. Kg (I think) posted some supportive information given to him by bassman that would be unlikely for anyone else to have.

To be honest, I don’t care if bassman is around or not. I found his claims that he thought a sexual assault was not his uncle and rather an insurance claim in incredibly bad taste. Since then other people have kept suggesting he meant something else and even though he was pretty clear at first he’s since changed his story to whatever they suggested.

Not sure on the moral superiority part but I feel that at times I come across as more negative and critics than I intend when I think something is obvious (even if I’m ultimately wrong). Probably something I should work on a bit because it’s easy to forget that over text there’s another person reading and responding. I come off as too dismissive of other people when I disagree. I should probably ask for their point of view and ask questions rather than explaining why they’re, in my opinion, wrong.

I don’t think bassman is going to share anything of any value. He’s had several chances to answer questions of some value and never done so. Even when he himself introduced the idea that he could answer them (which if he’s limited in what he can say or simply doesn’t know the information why would he claim to).

I find that offensive to victims and the relatives of the victims to come into the the forum regarding their offender and do that. So that part makes me a little angry. Because of that I almost don’t care what he has to share even if he could provide anything of value.

I also find the attitude of ‘i know something you don’t know but I’m not telling’ And then, when called out, the action of claiming that people aren’t appreciative enough of his non info so he’s taking his ball home and never coming back, only to reappear to make claims of info he could share too indicative of trolling and similar to the individual with so many sock puppet accounts.

I’d be appreciative and take him more seriously if he’d answer some of the most basic questions he himself brought up. Point out in the picture who he is referring to. Provide the names of all the guns and bikes he claims he could easily name.

I don’t think it’s crazy to simply ask him to finish his own claims. It isn’t like I’m asking him to answer whether or not he drove his uncle to or from crimes (or whatever that story was that’s been around her for a while regarding jjds nephew) or provide social security numbers for JjD. I understand he can’t or won’t answer that. But the other info - if he’s here to honestly do what he claims - I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect him to do that.

Re records search:

I am getting unsolicited emails from a "people search" type company online that I used to subscribe to. The message states that someone associated with JJD with the last name that starts with an "H" (Not Mr. Holes or Ms. Howard) has some "new information".  I have received 2 such notices -unsolicited- : one before the recent hearing and 1 right after the recent hearing. 

Side note:  I was out of the country in December and used the service from 11,000 miles from my house in a secure setting.  Then, the service I pay a whole $5.00/month to "suspended" my account and re-imbursed me 4 months of subscription costs.  When I asked why they said they made a mistake and I could sign back up but I declined.

TL,DR :  I think people related to the case are changing contact info prior to the preliminary hearing's news cycle.   Or, it's nothing.

Update:  Just got another a while ago from the same company saying a "relative" of H has changed "information".    

I think all this has to do with what may come out at the preliminary hearing in May. These folks are JJD "victims" in a way, too, just like Mr. Holes has said.
