I have the cindy wanner and mary lloyd episodes in mp4 format. I dont do youtube, only watch, but i could upload them somewhere for anyone. they are both around 250mb.

That is kind of you but I don't want to get you in trouble with Youtube.  I have seen the Cindy Wanner episode a couple of times. 

There is just something sophisticated and odd about all of JJDs crimes and Cindy Wanner's case has those characteristics as does the Mary Francis LLoyd abduction.

meh i have a dummy google acount and may upload them a little later was just wondering how much demand there was for them (not gatekeeping them, Ill upload anything for anybody, Im an internet pirate for pete's sake!!!). There is a VERY young Willick in the one episode. And if Murder Inc is right about the air dates (the air dates aren't in the file names I downloaded), its kinda crazy how you look back now at the original nightstalker episode and think someone that actually knew who Joe was was in an episode or two before that one! Crazy *! Theres so many odd coincidences in this case it isnt even funny. Someone once told me that a rape victim of his from the 70's hired his wife for a divorce in the mid 90's. That hasnt been confirmed at all, its just an anecdote someone told me.

I was able to watch two of the episodes using pluto.tv, but there are ton of commercials. If you try to use the yellow progress slider at the bottom, you'll immediately be forced to watch a couple of minutes of commercials and the slider doesn't seem to go very far ahead.

The ONS episode of Cold Case Files Season 2 is apparently not available on pluto.tv. 

Note, in the Mary Lloyd episode, Chief Nick Willick of Auburn PD says, in agreement with what 12-26-75 has said, the Mary Lloyd vehicle found in North Hollywood was left in such a way as meant to be quickly found (parked in red zone, tires slashed, pointed wrong way, keys inside.)  EDIT: yes, confirmed after some doubt on my part, it was "the keys" of the car that were inside, according the criminalist who examined the vehicle as she stated in the episode.

I'm wondering if the tires were slashed so the keys could be left with less worry the vehicle would be stolen.  In other words, was the killer sending a message - after cleaning the car thoroughly for prints (there were a pair of glasses in the car, were they Lloyds(?), don't think they said.)

Here's the 12-26-75 map that shows Mary Lloyd, along with 1978 PG&E murder victim Bill Harrington, were neighbors of Chief Willick on Sylvan Vista Dr. in Auburn, two and three houses down, respectively:

Yah ,I don't think this is a real good fit for Deangelo.

You never know though, an extra set of clothes or two, a nice curly haired wig, and it is easy to see how an eyewitness may have come up with this suspect description, which possibly could have been Deangelo.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     I just briefly glanced over this story earlier and I really don't see Deangelo putting himself in this type of situation. This lady was kidnapped and then dumped 10 miles from the scene, which is very, very, dangerous and risky. This crime to me looks more like a carjacking where the perp needed some quick cash and a car to get to where he was going.

Thank you for the link.  I watched the Mary Francis Lloyd segment and there were some details that I had not previously heard. 

The car was left in Hollywood on Victory Blvd. with a deflated tire and a slashed tire.  The tire condition was in the newspaper but this video said it was also parked facing the wrong way in a red zone.  Someone wanted the car to be found very quickly. 

They also showed images of the interior of the car and there was blood everywhere.  They said that Mrs. Lloyd had been stabbed to death but I have to wonder if she was also beaten.  They think she was sexually assaulted but due to the decomposition and animal activity, there was no way to test for sexual assault. 

The interior light bulb in the car had been removed.  We know the JJD liked low light for his attacks. 

The DOJ crime lab was able to pull a DNA profile from evidence in the car of an unknown male.  I wonder if that was ever tested against JJD's DNA profile? 

JJD's crime scenes were always odd.  The way the car was left is very odd like the suspect was taunting law enforcement.  The fact that Mrs. Lloyd was a neighbor and friend of Nick Willick really stands out to me.

The cold case files episode says that a witness at the store who became an Auburn PD officer saw a BOLO for a man named Charles Sinclair who was a known murderer and had cleaned and dumped a car in the past.  The officer thought that Charles Sinclair looked like Mary Francis Lloyd's abductor. 

I think Charles Sinclair and JJD look quite a bit alike. 

They say they have a DNA profile.  If they don't have a suspect, they should use genealogy to find one.
