Let's hope that after the victim impact statements are done that he drifts off into the well deserved obscurity of life without parole. What a conniving, manipulative to the last, creep.

IMO the whole “Jerry act” is his attempt to lead the victims to think they do not have the upper hand and he got away with all his offenses because his mind is gone - that he had a good life, unlike them, which was why he threw in, “I destroyed their lives”.  

He wants everyone to think he was caught but so what since he doesn’t even know what’s going on and since he can’t miss out on anything fun in life anymore anyway since he’s now frail, weak, stiff and too senile to do anything or to think straight. And that he is not the monster he’s known to be because he was sick - he had a split personality.  He’s an idiot. A split personality doesn’t make the other personality do things, it does such things itself and then the other personality has no recollection or memory of those things.  If Jerry was a voice telling him or making him do things, it would mean he is schizophrenic.  

JJD doesn’t like not having the power or the upper hand over his victims and the community.  

When Jane Carson yelled out to him, JJD knew she wasn’t fooled by his lame-ass trick.  Otherwise, why would she waste her time telling-off a frail old man who doesn’t understand what’s going on?  I’m so glad she did that.

RIGHT ON TO MS. CARSON!  POWER TO THE VICS!

Yes, there was LOUD cheering and clapping when Jane gave the DA the thumbs up for bringing up the small penis.  You should all know that Jane almost immediately began counseling with the other victims back in 77-78, with the permission of Carol Daly when we agreed.  I still have a mimeographed brochure about rape trauma that Jane put together and gave to victims who were willing to meet with her.  If you haven't read her book, she did nursing for returning Viiet Vets for some time.--Sacramento Survivor "Fiona"

Lot of touching moments at that hearing. The second Stockton couple (one of two out of twenty attacked who are still together) arm in arm as the details of their attack over 40 years ago are read out and JJD saying “I admit” tops my list.

I love how Jane and other survivors see themselves as "survivors" instead of "victims!" This changes so much, and is good for everyone at some point in our lives - we must all be "SURVIVORS!!" Thank you Jane!
