I'm trying to bring attention to the Batman Rapist case, yet nobody here on the board is interested in helping with research, or even bouncing ideas around.

Fair enough I suppose, but it won't help solve cold cases if we prevent the possibility of witnesses, victims, family members, local insiders and new sleuths coming forward.

I've been trying to do some research on this case but wikipedia is unreliable and I'd love to know what people think is a definitive cover of the case before interjecting on peoples opinions

Unfortunately there is no definitive cover of the Batman case.  There's barely any information available.  Your opinions would be welcome asap!

There was a book written by some university students years ago, but the content was just taken from public newspaper articles.

We've made a FOI request, but I doubt if they are going to send us the case files! 

The case needs a tech savvy, published author, with LE contacts (like a winters or a quester) to catalogue the Batman crimes and make contact with retired LE, and the authors of the major Batman newspaper articles.  Sadly, I don't have the background, contacts or research/tech skills to tackle this.  A couple of the best researchers on this board have been helping out, but they are very busy with their own long term research projects.
