(I decide to group the Bailey Insider's posts all in one place, as everything seemed kind of disorganized).
Bailey Insider, case input:
This person wanted to post here but had some reservations, so it is ok with her that I post this inside information 3rd party.
The names have been changed to initials of all the parties involved except the Long family who’s names are common knowledge or available to the public .
Start:
The Long's house sits back and is accessed through a narrow road. You don't stumble onto it - you have to deliberately be headed to their house.
The Long's owned 2 restaurants:
one in Bailey - China Village
one in Pine - Derick Thai
They owned a liquor store next to Derick Thai.
They own 6 small apartment units next to China Village.
There is some type of housing underneath in basement of Derick Thai.
Maggie's Family
San Long - dad
Hy Cun "Heather" - mom
Kids:
Lynna
Connie
Maggie
Derick
All went to Platte Canyon High School
All were popular, top of their classes academically, involved in multiple extracurriculars and worked at the restaurants and liquor store throughout their lives.
Heather was a strict parent, ran a tight ship and had them working while they did their homework. All EXCEPTIONAL kids.
They also had waiters from Nepal area (Bhutan, etc.).
Liquor store had a caucasian woman (AS), working when Maggie was killed. She has multiple kids that she rarely has custody of. She's an alcoholic. She has 2 grown sons and her husband is their age. One son and her husband have criminal records. Her husband was arrested, after Maggie's murder, for bank robbery. Her son has been in trouble for check fraud.
A resident back in that area of the house is very likely someone who helped with at least one sketch of one of the perps. The daughter (C) told me her mom (S) almost got run off the road by a minivan.
I spoke with someone at the sheriff's office (she was a lead investigator). She told me that they were flooded with calls when two boys killed themselves. She also said "they were persons of interest" but had been eliminated. Because of their criminal records they were looked at closely. I know the sister of who (RR) was dating and his sister. I didn't know (TS) but know his cousin (WS) and his parents. I will do what I can to ask questions about the boys taking their lives, eventually. Subtly is important.
Here's one of my questions? Would sketches ever be created to sniff out the suspects? Is it possible that they made 2 of the sketches look like (RR) and (TS)? - They definitely capture a good likeness to them.
Another thing to note, the old sheriff has kids around the same age as the older Long girls. He would never have ignored or scuffed at this case. He personally knew the family and knew Maggie since birth.
My biggest question is who was the renter? I need a name. I never felt he was in on anything. I think he came home to a bunch or ruckus in the Long's house. He thought nothing of it until he heard a shot and smelled smoke. Then he knew something was amiss.
The LONGS were targeted. Their schedules were very predictable. People thought they had money but they were just hard working people getting their kids through college. They are a grieving family and if any morsel of assistance can help find the killers, they would be forever in your debt.

The demographic in Bailey is that of high school educated, some meth heads, lots of lower middle class. So to them, business owners are rich people. Hardly!!!!! They are all barely making it.
It means everything to me that the killers are found. Fyi, we found out the day after Maggie died that she was burned and in the house. Not sure why Fred Wegner and deputies weren't forth coming with her whereabouts. I think they knew who committed the crime but needed clear, solid evidence before releasing it to the general public. I knew within a day and it was devastating to know, when our entire town had no knowledge. The giveaway was that we weren't sending out search parties. It was heartbreaking. Only a handful of us knew she was killed because of connections with first responders.

I had to laugh that someone thought 3 vehicles for the crime was outrageous. I think the perps are locals. How would a Denver person stumble upon a Ranch in the middle of nowhere? Only insiders know who's who in Bailey.
The fourth perp is a girl. Have never seen the sketch. It's a small town and some people know a lot of people but it depends what circles you run in.

I really think it's possible that R and T killed her.
Important note: Law enforcement said there was no danger to the public. Is that something Barney Fife (Andy Griffith Show deputy) would say out of ignorance or did LE know the perps and knew there was no danger to the public?
Also do you think the autopsy report is available? I would gladly pay to get that from the county.
One more thing: a BOLO was released by mistake
It said the perps were armed and dangerous and may have suffered burns. They retracted the Be On the Look Out within hours. Super weird. Our LE makes 30k a year. I love them but it's not like they have the training of LE from a metropolitan area.

Psychic a couple days ago. She said the boys who killed themselves are not the killers.
She said there were 2 guys. One is deranged and was the leader. The other helped but isn't evil like the leader. There was a 3rd person but he wanted no part of it. The 2 guys are good with secrecy but the leader is worried about the 3rd guy and might kill him. He's always drunk and the leader is worried about him mumbling something when he's wasted. She said he might end up murdered near a creek.

Believes the renters initials are R.P. if we could just get the whole name in PM message, it would be helpful. I believe the renter could be the key to solving this case.
