Theresa Dawn Clark disappeared on Nov 24, 1986 and was found in March 1987.
This is the March 3, 1987 article from the Sac Bee, right after her body was found.
Here's her find-a-grave:
www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=58579570
Note, the bludgeoning is to the body, not the head. I don't know if that fits in with other GSK MOs.
Can we tie this in with other possible SKs/POIs in the Sacramento area around the time?

BODY IN FIELD IDENTIFIED AS DAVIS WOMAN
The badly decomposed body of a woman discovered by hikers early Sunday in a field east of Davis was identified Monday as Theresa Dawn Clark, who disappeared Nov. 24 after taking a bus to Sacramento for a job interview. The Yolo County coroner's office confirmed the identification of the Davis resident about 3 p.m. following daylong tests that also determined she apparently had been beaten to death. The body was nude.
Patsy Brookshire of the coroner's office said tests determined that Clark died as a result of ""multiple injuries to the chest area.'' She said Clark apparently had been beaten severely with a blunt object.
She said it has not yet been determined whether Clark had been sexually abused.
Clark, a 28-year-old graduate of the University of California, Davis, was last seen shortly after a job interview at the Eureka Laboratory on La Grande Boulevard in Sacramento.
Company officials said Clark left around 11 a.m., supposedly to return to her apartment on K Street in Davis.
Later that same day, witnesses told police that Clark was seen shopping at Albertson's Food Center on Eighth Street in Davis as late as 8:30 p.m. Her whereabouts after that time remain a mystery.
Clark has been the focus of an intense investigation by law enforcement in Davis and Yolo County. Fliers with her picture on them were posted throughout Davis within days after her disappearance, and a $5,000 reward was offered was offered by Davis police for information leading to conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.
Detectives have said privately for weeks that they believed Clark was either murdered or kidnapped.
Police said a construction worker found the woman's backpack the next morning along Interstate 80 near the Mace Boulevard overpass on the outskirts of Davis. The backpack contained Clark's checkbook, keys and other personal effects. ""Nothing of value appears to be missing from the backpack,'' Davis police spokesman Sgt. Don Hoskins said at the time.
Clark, who graduated last summer from UCD, was 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighed 120 pounds and had light brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue sweater and pink corduroy pants, police said. Special to The Bee
