One person allegedly killed up to five women in and around South Miami-Dade Florida between February and July of 1975. It has been theorized the perpetrator would deflate a motorists tire at gas stations before they would leave, ultimately leading them to pulling over and requiring the individuals assistance roadside. Something tells me this was a psychopath who did some killings while he was in the area before moving, likely a drifter. My POI would likely be a captured serial killer from another location, as whoever did this stopped and was never identified. Clear case of the killer(s) wanting to move on before suspicion arose in their direction... someone like Henry Lee Lucas, someone who was on the move a lot around that time and could never have been totally pinned down. Not someone like Ed Edwards or Danny Rolling, someone who ultimately wanted some fame and would have claimed it in some way. Maybe someone just starting out, though I feel these killings were more about acting out on compulsion rather than thrill seeking... like a smoker needing nicotine, if you will.
Thoughts? Comments? Disagree? Go for it, I'm up for discussing and learning more about these crimes.
Learned alot more about this after researching the victims. The main thing is that there are up to 25 more suspected killings. I'll show my work when I'm off my phone but I am pretty sure its a legit LE speculation this went on killing into 76.
As for the profile of him being large and above avg IQ, I think its because of the way he killed those confirmed 5. Now the thing to look at are those killed in their homes, which is driving me crazy thinking about. Anywho, thats all I've got.
nowhereman: If you didn't see Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey on Netflix...yikes. I was aware of most of that stuff but when it's all explained chronologically in great detail holy cow. Those FLDS people are out there.

sammyt: After the new 12-26-75 book, perhaps it's time for a similar investigation into the CPK crimes. Seems like there were a lot of dirty police chiefs around back in the day...

kg: Thanks SammyT. I have to give credit to SammyT for the fact that I am still plugging away on Coe. If it were not for his candid feedback and encouragement I am sure I may have landed in the looney bin a long time ago but most likely I would have quit.
