These are some things I have picked up on that suggest that the EAR could have been a Cop. I have no supporting evidence to prove anything. I don't want to prove anything here. I just want to take a little trip down speculation lane. Please understand that these observations are not intended to make anyone think the EAR was a Cop any more than they are intended to make anyone think the EAR was the tooth fairy. Just simple observations. If you have any more please share them.
The posture the EAR had, straight up, chest out, feet spread apart slightly, bracing stance.
Wearing of tool belt of some kind around his waist.
His ability to control people and situations.
His use of the word "Freeze" to make woman stop and put the phone down.
His use of the words, "there would be two shots" to a victim if he were to shoot him. Two shots at the time is how Police were trained to shoot.
How Ear unloaded homeowner firearms and lined up the bullets and shells. Lining things up.
Separating his victims. Removing female from bedroom. Control your suspect.
Knowledge of concealing identity and leaving nothing to aid investigation.
The way he drove his car. Witness said he did not just make a U turn but rather backed up ( to put distance between them) and then backed into a driveway then forward in other direction.
His use of a flashlight in the face of victims and telling them not to look at him.
The way he used his flashlight in one hand and gun in his other hand. Something in both hands. Difficult to say if he was right or left handed. He knew LE would be curious.
His use of a handgun to control the male. His use of knife to control female.
Witness said he casually walked away after botched rape attempt. Feeling untouchable.
The way he stayed one step ahead of law enforcement.
His use of different colored mask just to create conflicting witness reports.
The way he kicked front door off of hinges.
His inability to flinch. Stood his ground when approached.
"Your training can and will save your life" He never forgot his training. He maintained control at all times.
Knowing how LE would investigate and knowing how the most effective criminals do things, who else could know both?
