I keep going back in my mind to remember what my thoughts were when I first joined the board and was
weighing and considering all the threads I had read about the EAR. I recall thinking about how the EAR
ordered his victims around. Do this and that and you better do it exactly this or that way.
In attack #2 he told the victim to "put your hands behind your back."
There was something else that the EAR said that sent up the cop flag in my mind. The EAR would say
"You better not lie to me."
In one attack in the bedroom he asked the 10 year old son what time his dad would be home then he went
into the living room where he had the mother bound and asked her the same question and told her
"You better give me the same answer that your son gave."
To me these were the words and actions of a cop.
Separating two people and telling them their stories better match.
That's an interrogation method used by law enforcement.
Just small things that had a law enforcement ring to it.
You go out your door with what you have. What you know. Your knowledge is revealed in your
words and actions. We can't help it and the EARONS was no exception.
I recall that the very first thing my husband ever pointed out to me was that the guy ties people's hands behind their backs like cuffs, then separates them and when he asks them questions he'll tell them he will know if they lie to him. Then my husband said stuff like, "who else yells freeze", "who else carries a baton", "this woman heard a cop's radio outside her window", "a few victims said the guy was wearing a shoulder holster, a gun belt...... burglar' s don't wear those, cops do, burglars just carry their guns in their pockets".
Then, last year around Thanksgiving, my husband saw trabuco's post and he said, "This guy is on the right track. Look at this list he made. He knows the guy is a cop!" And dumb me! I was drowning myself deep into my Alpha Beta maps so I told my husband to move over so I could work on my Alpha theoy. đ
