Every time I plan something non-case related it falls through, so I'm going ahead with planning my long desired California trip for next year and just save, save, save up for that. I plan on doing a 'crawl' of sorts somewhere associated with the crimes, whether it be Sacramento, Contra Costa, Orange, Irvine... somewhere he walked so I can take my research to the next level. My research partner Sara and possibly another sleuth will be joining the trip, with the intention being to give folks like us who have never been to California to see the things he saw as well as give those from there but not living there anymore a chance to see how it looks now.
I give you my word, this is not me asking for money lol. This is just my way of planning it out in a way that I can receive input on what would be relevant to actually do while there, where I should actually go and what could we possibly get out of it that helps the most. Of course I plan on filming almost the entire thing so there's that and if anyone wants to take a chance and be part of this, we're all for it. I also plan on trying to have some shirts/posters/etc available if anyone does want to make a 'cameo'. Everyone going thus far has met the survivors and a few of our fellow forum goers, we're all familiar with the case and we're extremely serious about doing this if for nothing else than to become better enlightened as to the progress of the case as well as closer as active sleuths.
So with all of that said, where would YOU go right now in California to do something about the trip? I'm looking at you in particular @bthekid , as the more I think about your idea of spreading awareness through a smaller, more grounded hand-out type of deal, the more I love it. I know I was thinking way out there and all over the place, but you've gotta understand that's how I think until I'm grounded lol. I think we should pursue this idea and at the very, very least, we can say we helped spread awareness on a level beyond that of the keyboard.
Anyway, just spouting my thoughts off here. What do you guys think?
