A former poster 'SuburbsIrvine' posted this in another thread:
'He was driving a Terminix truck. He looked exactly like the clean-cut version of the sketch. It was easy for him to get access. He had access to the names of their customers in a wide area of the county. When I caught him the first time he gave the address and name of an alleged customer 10 houses away from me and rattled it right off the top of his head. However, when I checked with Terminix, the manager said my neighbor was not scheduled for service, This man said he got the address wrong and Irvine PD asked no questions and would not followup with Terminix after I gave them the name of the manager I talked to that day. It must have emboldened EAR.
Their gated community was not much of a drive from Irvine on fairly empty road. Moulton Parkway southbound, make a right and drive to PCH, or anyplace in between. He could then take PCH back up to return to him trailer park in Garden Grove or his office, where his small, nondescript car was parked.
The FBI has had this information for awhile now. Including where he lived in Garden Grove. My hope is that Terminix maintained their fingerprint records. Every Southern California neighbor to a victim should be asked about a Terminix truck in their neighborhood.
Also, I looked at a map someone drew of the murder just off of Northwood around the corner from me in Irvine. The map proposed trail to the other house is unlikely. Northwood bordered the back of my fenced yard. He jumped that fence when I pulled a gun on him the morning he came through my back glass door. A park and elementary school are behind my backyard. Continue down Northwood, it becomes Southwood, curving around another elementary school and park. Make a left and the next street is Culver.
However, if you continue through Southwood, it crosses Bryan, then comes to a left turn into an elementary and middle school. It would be easy to park in that neighborhood and walk paths or just through neighborhoods, including crossing Irvine Blvd..'
I don't know if this person was being nutty or they really believed this..but it certainly is possible ONS/EAR could've worked for a place that had to go to commercial/residential/hospitals to spray or perform services. I haven't heard of a Terminix truck ever being mentioned in this case but they have locations on Calle Real, right near Encina, the Arden area and probably others. Of course they have hundreds of places so their bound to be near locations on this case.
