Preview note to moderators: I put this thread in the Café forum as opposed to the "General earons discussion" forum because the topic of this thread is about the hand-to-hand combat prowess of LE officers in general and military veterans in general, not about the earons.

Some of the most ridiculous claims I've ever seen on this message board are on the thread "Why earons was not a cop or in the military". People on this thread would take the tiniest shreds of evidence and make these real, extreme certain conclusions from them. The posts on the thread were all made in 2015 until I resurrected the thread after JJD was arrested for the earons crimes. At the time that this thread was first active in 2015, I was planning on creating a new thread about the pattern of behavior of certain posters on this thread, but I never got around to it due to time constraints. Before anyone accuses me of ripping on people only now when I have the benefit of hindsight, please read my posts I made in 2015. I thought the exact same way before JJD was indentified as the earons.
In the OP of the thread "Why earons was not a cop or military", the Original Poster says that he can think of little to no reasons why earons was a cop or military. Then the OP makes a list of reasons why the earons was not a cop or military. One of the reasons is the following: "He [earons] was a coward. If he was challenged for even a moment by someone who could be a risk, he [earons] retreated. If he [earons] was someone in LE or in the military, he would have laughed at a regular dude standing up to him."
Ugh! This is such crap. As I said back in November 2015, LE officers and people in the military are just standard issue people. I was homeless for 3 years, living on the streets and in homeless shelters. I have seen people "stand up to LE officers and people in the military" several times in my life. The police don't think of civilians resisting them or fighting them is a laughing matter at all. When I was homeless, I had a homeless friend named Jim. Jim had a warrant issued for his arrest, and Jim was a fugitive from the law. One time Jim was sleeping on private property, and a police officer came to roust Jim. The cop asked for Jim's ID so the cop could check him for warrants. This is just standard procedure that cops almost always do when they make homeless people leave private property. Jim was unarmed. Jim beat up the police officer, and Jim took the police officers' handcuffs from the officer and Jim handcuffed the police officer to a railing and ran off. Jim is just a regular sized guy. Jim is not a heavyweight prizefighter or anything like that. Jim was later arrested for this and went to prison for it. Things like this happen to police officers sometimes.
When police officers have stopped me at night when I was homeless, the police officer would usually call for backup and wait for backup before the officer even approached me and asked for ID.
Police officers are just standard issue people. Police officers are in no way invulnerable to attacks by civilians. Police officers are not invincible comic books super heroes. Literally thousands of police officers have been killed by civilians since the inception of this country. Check out www.odmp.org
Then, on the thread "Why earons was not a cop or in the military", another poster (not the OP) said the following about the earons: "We know that he [the earons] was not a big or particularly strong man, so I think war veteran can be ruled out."
This is just a total non-sequitur.
The height requirement for males for all four branches of the US Military is 5'0". This is pretty darn small. Ever seen 4'10" Danny DeVito in the company of other people? It looks like the top of Danny's head only comes up to a lot of guys' waists. Think just two measely inches taller than Danny DeVito. The weight requirements are also low. There are no height/weight requirements to be a war veteran except for the height/requirements to enter the military at all. There is no strength requirement to enter the US Military. There is no strength requirement to be a war veteran.
I cannot think of any reason to think that a war veteran has to be a big or particularly strong man. The person who made the above quote from the "Why ear ons was not a cop or in the military" thread has been watching too many Rambo movies.
What bothered me the most about the above quote is that the poster went so far as saying the ear ons being a war veteran can be "ruled out." That's a strong phrase. It would be different if the poster just said something like "earons is probably not a war veteran". Instead the poster said that the possibility of earons being a war veteran can be "ruled out".
I saw a lot of fistfights when I was homeless, both on the streets and at homeless shelters. I have seen military veterans lose fistfights against people who have never been in the military several times. I would estimate that the outcome of the fistfights that I witnessed would be that the military veteran would win the fistfight only about half the time, which is no better than chance.
