Again, not sure if what you said at AETV conflicts with, or confirms, what you have said above; just wanted to include it here.  I do not recall that you made any other statement at AETV regarding what McGowen's son said to you in your telecom with him.

Thank you Drifter!  So great you can put your hands on that (have you worked on putting the whole thing up where we can all research stuff from the old board yet?, I was thinking like putting up a separate non monitored Proboard where this stuff could be available for research but not for comment so no need for moderators?) 

Anyway,  yes, note I said I would have to look up if he told me that his father had a different poi at the time of his death.  That I could not recall.  Somebody told me that and I could not recall who but I was positive that he said his father did not believe the VR was the EAR/ONS and there you have it. 

He also said his poi is deceased now, I do not believe the poi of PC is deceased, right?  Also he is mentioning two brothers does this fit with your poi PC?

I'm sorry PC but I'm going to have to agree with sfbay here.  It is very frustrating to make big conspiratorial allegations, and you know more than the detectives, how is this possible, how do you know more than LE, how can you have the knowledge to challenge them.  I don't, I can't.  But I just don't want to get into this with you.  If I have to take the word of some anonymous poster, with information that is not put forth for us to assess, or the word of LE and detectives that I respect, I am taking the side of LE and the detectives.  PC you have been very kind to me and I really don't want this to be personal but that is frankly my feeling on it and everyone that does not agree with you is not in some conspiracy against you, please do not think that of me, because I think you do think that of some others.  Have a great evening, I'm out!

No, no, no. Look at exactly what Brett said that you quoted from him. It is not the same thing that has been assumed and repeated as truth about his father's shooter, the VR, and he most certainly does not say that his father didn't think the VR was EAR, or that his father changed whom his VR suspect was.  

For clarity, I'll point out that the sketch he is referring to that was done from his father's description the night he was shot at was what is referred to as the "Doughboy sketch" on the forum. The other VR suspect sketch was done something like 11 months before the shooting. It was not altered to look like McGowen's VR suspect after his shooting like was alleged by Arch on the A & E board. It was done in Jan., 1975 - long before the shooting happened.

From Brett:

Sandia, what are you doing when you claim you believe there is more to the dog than what LE has claimed or that you think GSK was framing people? How do you know more than LE and how can you have the knowledge to challenge them? How does anyone here who are not LE have access to LE records or personnel? See how that works?

What I am saying is the allegations you are making about McGowen are not accurate and what you are saying that Brett said as proof of your assertions, is not what he said. What he is saying is backed up by other LE, their family members, and victims.

I don't want to make this personal and I think the craziness that has gone on here towards people who won't toe the standard LE line is bizarre and sick.

I have had several back and forth communications with Officer Brett McGowen, the son Of Officer Wm. McGowen. You are right, he told me "he" does not think the VR was the EAR/ONS. If I recall correctly from the other communications he is basing his opinion on what "his father told him".

I did not post all of my communications with him on the a&e board, just one.

Next, it states that although Officer Wm. McGowen felt certain of who the VR was, the suspect was not charged because there was not enough evidence to convict BUT it says he is now "deceased". So your poi is alive right?

Lordy. Whom you refer to as my POI is the same guy whom was Det. McGowen's VR suspect and he is alive and well. It is not whom Brett is referring to as his father's shooter. He was basing what he said about his father's shooter on info from his father most likely.
