Lets Solve This Case!
I believe with all the collective brain-power we have working here we could solve this case, throwing out the conspiracy theories, cases where DNA and jailed POIs don’t match and other way out there odd-ball types things that only side-track this message board! Almost like a group of people mapping this out until we get to an obvious common denominator in locations, times, crimes, suspects and evidence. People from California would have to do most of the leg work and we need some computer programmers to map this all out and everyone here to keep up the great efforts and maybe someone to come forward with new information OR that would like to turn someone in type of situation. The answers may already be on this board/web-site. Once we put it all together in a manageable format, we have it solved and a suspect to actually turn into LE.
Personally I believe VR is the same person as EAR/ONS. Too many of the same MOs!
I also believe VR was mid to late teens, a teen in a rage! EAR was late teens to early twenties, way too much time on his hands. ONS was early twenties to mid-twenties had a job and maybe a family. Maybe I am off by 1-5 years at most.
Early EAR attacks were in his own neighborhood, leaving pants outside how could he get away without them if his car keys were in his pants? He didn’t worry; he lived in the area in my opinion.
How did he do so much recon without being noticed? Who could go in backyards of other people and not be noticed? A young looking guys that belonged in the area, maybe cut the grass, a meter reader or similar, somebody who cut through neighbor’s backyards all the time, at least for the early attacks. After his comfort level went up and the pressure increased he expanded his range. He had means or family support not to work all the time when he was younger, living most likely with a dominating and controlling mother.
His last attack in 1986, wasn’t by chance in my opinion and at this point he changed his life style, because of family, job or just couldn’t do it anymore for a number of reasons including age or guilt or who knows?
