What if Bobby actually said, it was a "Blackmon"? As in Steve Blackmon or a relative of his.
In other words, when Bobby was being questioned while he was distraught and traumatized and then asked if he recognized the assailant or could describe him, he could have said, "He was a Blackmon".
The description of the suspect being a black man. That is how the Zodiac killer managed to escape after killing cab driver Paul Stine in S.F.
Completely unrelated but just thought I would share it with you.
Ok, I know this might get a few angry responses and I only say it because it has happen before... but sometimes people will say a "black man did it" or the suspect was "black" because they want to blame blacks or they want to steer LE away from the real suspect or their own involvement in the crime. I only say this because Terri Bowman states that she was only a few feet away from the attack yet didn't see the killer, and the brother grappled with the killer yet got his skin color wrong, according to police finding evidence that the killer was white? I find it hard to believe that Trooper Bowman wouldn't first turn on an interior light and the front porch light before opening the door? If Terri Bowman said it was too dark to see the killer a few feet away, how did she see too find the phone only a few feet away from the attack? I cant believe this all happened in complete darkness, I cant think of anyone opening their front door without turning on a light to a stranger ringing the doorbell over & over (especially at 4:15am & being a cop). The article say's that "The Bowmans and the Worrells had been "friends for a very, very long time", so I assume the brother also knew the Worrells (at the least he had to have known who his brothers partner was) and if he did he would've definitely recognized the killer if it was Worrels, yet he says it was a black man & police say they are "99.4%" certain it was Worrell. If it was my brother who had been stabbed laying on the ground dying, I would've chased the suspect for 100 miles on two broken legs!! Why did the brother stop grappling with the killer?
I have to say that this is all speculation on my part from what I've read on this case, but haven't a lot of people been found guilty of crimes on less than "99.4%" guilt? Also sadly we again see an LE officer being the prime suspect.
EDIT: My wife would've jumped on the attackers back yelling and screaming before calling the police & my brother would've not let him get away, but he too would've been yelling and screaming to attract attention from neighbors for additional help. So did the neighbors say if they heard anyone screaming or yelling for help? The Bowmans lived in a Townhouse and no one heard anything?
Quote from the article:
"Martin, a 30-year veteran of the force, has said he is "certain that [the] homicide will be solved in view of the fact that more than one person knows who killed Bowman."
Really? "the fact that more than one person knows who killed Bowman". this 30-year police veteran says "the fact". Who did these people name as the suspect?
What we need to really focus on is can we link this to the CPK?
