Good read cluso thanks. I wonder about the Zodiac taking so many of his victims nearby water......and his likely fascination with the occult. Most of us feel certain the Zodiac took his first victims in Southern California and then later here in the Bay Area. Call me optimistic but I feel there is something of significant news to come out soon on who the Zodiac killer was. Yeah, my bet is he is dead now but..........
In ancient Chinese philosophy there are 5 elements, namely, water, earth, wood, fire and metal. In western occult there are 4 elements, earth, air, fire and water. Some “ occult” practices ( not to be confused with, say, the sacraments of the Catholic Church teachings), such as witchcraft, add a fifth element, that of “spirit” and a belief that some humans have a supernatural power over other human beings. Some people believe just as much in the power of magic and casting spells as others do in a Heaven and Hell. I find the distinctions between western and eastern philosophies in general to be fascinating and there has always been this astrology and occult issue integral to the crimes of the Zodiac. The 5 elements in Chinese culture are quite universal to their way of life and used in health, diet, martial arts, astrology and so on.
PS where did EAR send Excitement's Crave to again?
ugh....hold on....my brain is slow to switch gears here boss-I’ve ignored most things related to that poem for more than a year now so you are ahead of me on this aspect. Lemme think, but be advise I’m a slow one lol.
Lol at good use of sarcasm. I read old threads when I first signed on here and at the time was very focused on the content of the poem. And ofcourse all the angles and interpretations of the contents of the poem, as evaluated by so many, I really was unaware that somebody claiming to be EAR had sent that to the Sac Bee. I thought a portion of this poem was found on a discarded notebook on what is now the iron horse trail, very close to a rape victims house where the suspect was last seen running away from. I somehow missed this poem having been sent to the paper. Ugh, told you I was a slow learner lol.
bri_bri_: Happy Thanksgiving All! My brother survived the virus (he caught it last month--he has weak immune system from cancer) and is still alive! I am thankful that he is still able to celebrate with his wife and kid, even if we don't get to celebrate together.

bri_bri_: He's a good guy but didn't think the virus was a real thing (he also didn't think the moon landing was real...which was weird). I feel bad for him because the medical bills are crazy insane.
