I have taken the most recent thread or conservation clip from a Facebook site for Justice for Maggie since the FBI announce it as a hate crime. What people don't realize is, it is away to to get more resources for the case, so I approve highly in this tactic. I have only used initials in the back and forth clip of the conversation. The one that say (me), is obviously me. I don't agree with the first lady but there is a second lady obviously from Bailey has has a few good points along with another guy but I'll post the whole segment and let you judge:

The FBI and CBI took control of the crime scene immediately and still we don't know anything, so I can't imagine they are going to find anything this late in the game. We all knew they were in control, but some nasty people blamed it all on the sheriffs office at the time of the murder. So sad!!

I hope you are not trying to defend the previous Sheriffs, Fred Wegener handling of the case. He ran a murder investigation from Florida by email, put a gage order on the case for one month when information from the public was most critical, told the public three months later there was do danger! Really, 3-4 murders out there that could strike again. I think Fred checked out of the office the year before when one of his deputies was killed serving a warrant. The CBI and FBI were called in too late in my opinion. Now with a hate crime more resources means new methods of DNA testing and mapping that can be used and paid for! These murders are on a short lease!

The FBI and CBI did not control this crime scene immediately. Fred Wegener controlled this crime scene. The editor of the Flume at the time of the murder was able to walk all through the house on the Sunday after the murder. He took pictures and most likely contaminated the crime scene. The gate was open and the house was unlocked. How does a Sheriff's department allow that to happen?

Has it ever been determined (or suspected) by investigators, if any of the vehicles when leaving, might have turned left out of the driveway instead of right toward the highway. To turn left (if I am not mistaken, but I have only driven their once) would lead them to a large neighborhood that also has no outlet; they would have had to turn around to get out, and drive back past the property and towards LE. To turn right, in the direction from which the first responders were arriving, in their undoubtedly desperate and panicked state, suggests they were familiar enough with the area to know NOT to turn left (away from arriving LE). I just haven't followed things too well for awhile.

My husband reported that a car was seen sitting on the side of Hangman, almost directly across from the ranch. He told the Sheriff's department that it was parked way of the road and he noticed it because it was really dry and whoever was in the car was smoking and flicking hot ashes out the window. He was later told that it was a firefighter staging to go into the fire. ODD. A smoking firefighter flicking ashes out the window.

WTH... Have people lost their minds? Hate Crime? I can think of a hundred scenarios that are more plausible than this. This poor girl will never see Justice. First....a completely bungled crime scene. 2. Almost zero interest or transparency in regards to trying to solve this crime. 3. No website to share anymore. Now it is a Hate Crime? Seriously? Do any of you recall any Asian hate talk going on in regards to one of the most beloved people in this community?

I am trying to keep this case alive and in the spot light until it is solved and Maggie and her family have some sort of justice. Whenever I find something new or interesting I'll try to post it in one of these folders. Please participate if you have anything to share of ideas on this case, in regards to any of the folders here.

Do the killers follow the Facebook page, I think they probably do and if they follow that, they follow this page as well, as the Link in FB comes back here, as I posted it a few years ago, to peak interest. So, they have to know their time is about up.

Sometimes is it easy to be a keyboard warrior and it seems like LE isn't doing anything, but they are and cannot give away that critical information to the public and suspects as well.

BTW, thank you Detective Kipple for staying on top of this case and doing a great job, along with the whole Maggie Long Taskforce. There is much we don't know about!

So, someone with the screenname MountainDog posted a rather lengthy post to the Websleuths page, filled with all kinds of allegations and theories. For some reason Websleuths decided to delete the post, as apparently it goes against their community rules.
A follower of this page did have the forethought to grab a copy of the post before it was deleted, and has sent it to us, and we have decided to re-post it. Instead of taking a screenshot, the follower simply did a copy and paste, but the post has not been edited in any way.
We want to be clear that we are re-posting a post from a public web page, so we're not taking any credit for it here or giving any credit to anyone for it, as we do not know who made the post to begin with. We are just re-posting it here for you to read. We do not take any responsibility for the claims made in this post, nor are we presenting them as fact. We are simply re-posting information that was posted elsewhere, so keep that in mind.
Here it is in it's entirety:

1. I’m very happy that our local page posted this site. This will quickly become my favorite site! Thank you for creating this site. We can all provide information that could potentially solve this case. Sometimes you need people outside the Case and evidence to state the obvious.
This has been reported to have occurred over money. The family ran gambling out of their basement which has been reportedly known by local LE and many many community members for a long time. Although this seems to be a fact, it was not purportedly over the gambling but rather, large amounts of money owed by the Family. The family’s businesses were not cash cows and a lot of locals have not even eaten there for a long period of time. The Restaurant in downtown Bailey closed awhile back due to lack of business. This goes in line with the rumors of debts owed by the Family. Doesn’t it make sense how the family is not speaking? Imagine how the public would react if they knew that it was over money that was owed by the Family to some shady people It has also been stated that the House was set on fire in multiple areas not just one spot. I have also been told that DNA was found. I’m very disappointed that I did not ask the obvious question which I now do not feel is appropriate to ask my source. The obvious rookie question! “Did LE receive a complete DNA profile?” It’s possible to not have a complete profile. It also may have not have produced a match. I also did ask what kind of DNA was found. There are many forms of DNA sources. It was indirectly confirmed through a possible rape. This has not been reported or confirmed by the SO. I am not trying to spread a rumor but a potential way to apprehend the suspect.

Also, I do not believe this story of a plate number being provided to the cops on a light colored van. People drive crazy on that road every day. This is not unusual. The quickest way to find a killer is a license plate. You will also see her ATV in the driveway on the news footage. The cops are trying to figure out whether her gas can was next to it, in the garage or whether the person brought gas with them. The cops have searched the cameras at the local gas station. You must understand that we live in s small town. We have one stop light, two gas stations, no big businesses and no grocery stores. Everyone knows everyone. Everyone seems to know everyone’s business or they create their own twist of a story. An employee at the gas station told me that she spoke with the father on the night of the murder. She told me he came in at 2 am and was drunk. He made no mention of his daughter. I find that very interesting and pushed her to make sure she knew what night he came in. She seems to be dead on accurate with her timeline. Could that be another reason the cops searched the videos? Are they watching the Dad? I don’t know. She said she did not put the connection together that it was Maggie’s Dad because she only heard that a girl named Maggie was missing. There was no mention of her last name. She learned the next morning that it was Mr. Long’s Daughter. She specifically spoke to Mr. Long about whether he was going to sell his business to a person who wants to turn the Restaurant into a BBQ place. Mr. Long told her they were still discussing it. Interesting if true!

I’ve also been told that the body was not completely burned which is how DNA was found. I’m hoping my source is wrong but it goes in line with why someone would set the fire. To hide evidence! I was also told that her body was not set on fire. I also was informed that the Sheriff’s office is incredibly short staffed. I’m not exactly sure what date this occurred but was told prior to the incident that one cop was on duty in Bailey and one cop was on duty in FairPlay. Those cities are one hour apart. Was the fire called in or a threat of someone who threatened to set the house on fire? Msybecthe cops were dispatched without fire being requested. The fire department is quick to respond. We have a ton of volunteer fire fighters that are truly amazing people. I would say the fire department responds quicker than the cops. Is this why the quick Gag Order request? I’m thinking the cops arrived and found the flames which was not initially reported. I’m sticking with that theory myself until proven otherwise.

We have been told that the Chinese mafia is involved due to the money. True or false? We do not know. It is an interesting rumor. This would explain the FBI involvement. I’m thinking this is s big possibility. Could this be why the community is not in danger? I’ve also been told that the family was specific ally targeted which is why lE do not believe there is a threat. Most community members are upset that we feel lied to and told to not worry that we have a murderer on the loose, an AK47 and 2,000 rounds of ammo. It doesn’t make a lot of sense unless it is a target made to the Family.

I do not think the cops have any idea who it is. They are phishing the roads on County Road 43. They are pulling over cars that are going the speed limit or a few miles over. This is very unusual as well. They are requesting a drivers license and registration. The cops run the driver for warrants and send them on their way with no explanation as to why they were pulled over. They are requesting DNA samples from students that went to school with Maggie. They continue to show up at kids houses to request DNA without any reason to even suspect the student. They say they are trying to rule people out. If this is also true, this confirms they have DNA. You don’t ask for a DNA sample if you don’t have a sample to compare it too. They are searching vehicles of teens who are in the surrounding area of the crime. I live within miles of the crime scene and it’s been a never ending presence of searches and cars being pulled over. They are violating the citizens constitutional rights and they don’t care they are doing it. You don’t do that if you know who committed the crime. They do this when they are scared, lack evidence to solve the crime and the community and media are pressuring them for a suspect. I feel bad for the stupid debts who have no active involvement or reason to even being approached. I guess time will tell if the students are not involved. The BOLO says a white male in his 20s. What is the truth?

The SO lied to the public. They knew right away they had a body. Obviously they notified the family pretty quickly as the family told members of the community that she was found in the fire. The community knew this by the next morning. Everyone was patiently waiting for confirmation as no one wanted to spread that rumor. Ask yourself this. Why did LE not immediately put out an Amber Alert or start a search for her? The community was offering to form search parties. The LE declined that offer. Why? Because they knew her body was in the fire. That is absolutely clear now!

The SO is very inexperienced in crimes and murders in Park County. I don’t think they intentionally created this misinformation (other than the body). I think they are clueless on crime. Go read the salaries on their website. The young cops come here to train and then leave our county. This is not my words but their words. Does this show experience on solving crimes? I’m extremely concerned that the window was missed to solve this crime. I’m praying we have DNA so that some day we can solve this crime. Otherwise, we might always wonder. You don’t put out a BOLO 10 days (I’m sleepy so I hope my math is correct) after the murder. They told the public nothing. The ruined any chance of jarring the public’s memory.

We have a very tight knit community here. We normally know if a car does not belong on a road up here. I think the van was a misunderstanding. I think someone probably reported it incorrectly. A neighboring county pulled over a light colored van with a young male driving it. It has Texas plates. The cop reported it to the investigating officers. The guy had a large amount of guns in his vehicle and he is in custody. Obviously it was not the first light colored young white man with many guns driving in Colorado. SMH.

Sometimes you need to listen to all leads and especially the community to solve the crime. I hope to God the SO has not goofed this one up. Anyone that has worked in the criminal field long enough knows that these types of mistakes could make the real killer or killers go free. That concerns me. The Ramsey Case is a prime example of how the cops goofed up the Case.

I would not be surprised if it was a targeted attack. Most burglars run if they find someone home. Most burglars are thieves not murders.

It was absolutely badly handled! If they would have investigated the property correctly it wouldn't have taken them 2 weeks before realizing part of the fence to the property was driven through! If they would have found that within the first few days they would have had more of a lead because they would have tire tracks impressions to know what tires were on the vehicle. Not only that, I have a friend who was driving 43 that day and was almost hit by a brown/tan Astro van that came flying up onto the road out of the field. It had double doors that opened up on the back and when they got to the light by loaf they turned right going towards downtown Bailey.

Just heard today at the Chamber meeting from Sheriff Tom McGraw that this is still being actively worked & they're going to put new reward posters & handouts in the week or so. They've sent detectives to pruse leads & believes in the next few years regardless of leads they'll have suspect based on DNA.

I want y’all to know I didn’t know anything til like a year ago. It was C. F. He dated my old friend and after years of abuse and 4 hours of her talking it out while he isolated and abused her, it was him. He doesn’t have an alibi. An avid gun user. He frequented the theater that she went to. lived in connifer co. the ex (A. V.) mentioned a girl named Maggie and I found it. His mom still lives in connifer co. The mom is crazy too but if there’s any evidence it’s at her place buried. He cut the brakes of two of them that *accidental* death of the car flying off the mountain. He has two kids w her and he fled and is now living in indenpence mo. He has a business here but the sketches match. I wish I could have gotten the name of the other guy to bring justice. He’s now stalking me cause he knows I know. he’s abusive and I knowwwwww for a fact he was the ring leader. I have always had a sixth sense about people and I was always scared of him. I want justice for her. I’ve tried to contact the fbi multiple times but he’s still free. The details she told me (and as someone who’s lived through true crime stories *almost murdered twice*) this family needs closure. He was w Maggie and was like 22 at the time. He frequented that theater she worked at. He knew her. he knew where she lived. he’s sick. Can we get him caught already?
