...he really didn't stalk his victims? He just...went for it. Not much thought, he just zeroed in on someone who caught his eye while he was out and about then busted up into their homes on the same night or so? Kinda makes me wanna consider thinking of the possibility to be honest.
Granted, I'm just speculating out loud with no real resource to back this theory up, other than possibly the sheer number of victims from one month to the next. He just did it when he wanted and if it spooked him the he would bolt without a hesitation. However, he'd get bolder and bolder until he started getting overly confident with his "take charge" persona. Eventually, this would prove boring and he would feel the need to move elsewhere...maybe where he knew everyone.
Now to shoot down my new, speculative theory... I'm sure its a long shot, given the reports of him appearing to be in the homes of his victims before hand. On top of that there is all the circumstancial and physical l evidence that would further rule this out. Such as peeping in windows before striking and being shocked that someone was not who he thought they were. Phone calls. Mystery cars appearing throughout the areas of attack. Knowing names but giving them to the wrong, unintended victims. Knowing exactly where to run in order to escape in the nick of time. Victims feeling like they were being followed. Or unloading pistols. Victims who were never hit finding stashed bindings...its an extreme long shot but one that was on my mind. If you don't like it, tough
For SOME of the evidence against this specualtion, I have some theories on how they might have occurred. But I'll let you guys deem it worthy to mention, as I'm sure many will just roll their eyes with this. While speculation may seem pointless to some, it's necessary to others.
Thanks.
