This case has many, many holes in it which we tend to get worked up about. It's not a problem when it's a debate, but it gets tedious when you see the same arguments in every other thread you visit.
Therefore, I am opening a thread for users to vent their various arguments in one place. Say, if you disagree that EAR committed the Maggiore murders and speak out in lets say, the Maggiore family thread. The next thing that happens is that you want to debate this particular argument against someone else, you come here instead of take up thread space dedicated to the discussion of the Maggiore family. Make sense? I hope my paraphrasing does and if not, just ask and I'll reiterate.
Anyway, I can already see where this may be an issue as some are more hot headed and since no one knows each other, no one will back off even if they're wrong. However I feel that having one thread dedicated to these arguments and having it locked is better than having several useful threads locked that became victim to said argument. I leave it with the moderators if this may continue.
Now the rules are simple.... let's say that user bob and I are about to argue if Janelle knew the ONS. She says she did, I say she didn't. We disagreed elsewhere in the victims section on a thread dedicated to Janelle. Instead of venting there, we come here and the debate is between us unless someone else reading has a valid point to interject. There can be mulitiple, multiple arguments in here and take up as much space as possible, so it's important to quote those you are referring to directly. The only real rule is that the argument must stay within the context of the topic and not get out of hand. I see where this may be hard for some like me who are quick tempered, but having it all here is way better than spanning it out across the board where it doesn't belong.
What do you think?
