Sacfisherking - I have been told that LE does not support the EAR A and EAR B theory.  I started the thread just to examine EAR's behavior a bit more.  JJ breaks down each attack by the known behavior.

For example, he says that the victim in the first attack was not expected to be there - and she was dragged.  I will have to look it up in ST, again.

According to his chart, in Attack #2, the victim(s) - two teenage sisters, were not expected to be there.

He links attacks like these to "EAR B" - the original EAR, who is less organized.  However, you could just examine the mental state of one EAR - based on his behavior at each attack.

Can anybody explain who JJ is?  I just know that he used to be on one of the old boards, and, then, he created his own site.  If you look at the dates on the site, though, it seems that he has not updated it in years.  I guess he must keep renewing the domain, though.

Thanks slumber for asking the question that I wanted to....who is jj?  I think he reveals the author of the EAR A/EAR B theory on one of his documents.  I just posted the link because I thought it was interesting that former LE were using one of his maps.

According to some people on the old forums, he thought that some forum members were harassing others using multiple screen names and trying to hack others and his site, so he got fed up with that.  He got attacked over the EAR A & B theory quite a bit and in hindsight, he had good points and there was also an SB detective claiming that they had DNA that didn't match the other ONS murders that J.J. seemed to take into account in his theory.

I can tell you that in all honesty only one victim thought there was penetration by more than one man. I have to believe if that happened to me I think I could tell if it is one or two. Most other victims believed he was trying to throw his voice and act as if he was talking to a third party. I believe if more that one person was involved someone would of made an error and told something. Again, just an opinion.

All of the information JJ used for his board was given to him by Archangel. Again we must do our homework. All newspaper articles all of the information that is factual was on the board because of Archangel. JJ is a very likable and very intelligent man. He had his own opinions and until there is an arrest or identification through familial DNA we will never be able to say who is right or wrong. None of us would even be discussing this if it were not for the board Archangel created out of concern that this case be solved. If for nothing else this should be worthy of respect. Just my opinion again. Thank God when rejected by the sheriff department to take a part in that board Archangel did not buckle. He stood up and faced it like real men do. Mucho respect to for all you have done. This case would not be being discussed today if not for him and his tireless efforts. He is behind the scenes and doing very important work on this case! Who wants to be around and be misquoted, criticized and taunted. I know I sure as heck would not! The Sheriff's Department knows the value of his board today and detectives have all of their superiors reviewing it as well. His board is held in high regard within the department.

This is almost a religious experience.

I think it possible that there was only really one EAR, but that he may have had assistance for some crimes.

Perhaps from a brother, cousin or uncle or something like that... someone who was submissive to him, and who acted as more of a lookout or driver than as a co-rapist.

IMO this kind of scenario is even more likely to have occurred in the VR cases.

Serial offenders having partners in crime for some of their sick escapades is not as unusual as you might think.

I completely agree with you,with the two Maggiores sketches it's possible he had a "lookout" who may have raped while the victim was blindfolded on occasion,that could explain the eye color mix up...Now this is hard for me to believe,but we do have two sketches in that double murder,and im not a psychic...I just hope we find out one day..

It would be interesting to go back over his record from 76 to 79 and see if he had any airtight alibis for some of the rapes. I fully expect to find that some of the rapes were not him, and that there are others for which he was responsible.

Some people say hindsight is twenty/twenty, but I dont agree. I tend to think that it is the winners who write the history books.

We don't know if LE will even try to find out ANYTHING about the rapes, since he can't be prosecuted for them. And it looks like he is reluctant to talk at the present time. I don't know how it could be determined if he had any airtight alibis. Even if you got his work record and found out he was on duty, so what? 

Now if he decides to start talking and tells everything he knows, of course all kinds of things may be learned.

Before EAR was identified as JJD, I often thought the EAR A/EAR B theory was quite plausible.

I agree with what Albion says - above.  I think some of the rapes attributed to EAR may turn out to not have been EAR.  For example, Attack #3 where the 40-year-old mother managed to physically and psychologically dominate the attacker.  I also think there are more EAR rapes and other crimes we don’t even know about, yet.
