Luftec posts in the light of JJD

Luftec was a banned poster and noted fraud prior to JJD. But I found some of his pre JJD posts intriguing, so I copied them down. From his first post, his clear goal is to prove that the VR was not EAR. Luftec also claims to have worked for LE, even in Visalia. If Luftec were JJD, is it possible at some point JJD helped investigate the EAR case? Rather than summarize the posts, just look at some:

"Hi folks, I'm new here but not to the VR and EAR cases. The biggest thing for me is the physical differences between VR and EAR, VR is big calved, and on heavy side and had what more then one witness said was a strange run, bow legged but like knees were close together, I know that makes no sense the way they are saying it but what it tells me he has a distinctive run and under stress of fleeing it is not likely a fake run. The EAR is a thin build and leaps fences with much greater speed and agility then VR. I believe the VR was an older male as well, I believe the utility worker who transferred to Davis right after the flashlight shooting incident that was contacted in Davis was the VR, just couldn't prove it.



The EAR in 1974 was just starting his breaking into homes and stealing women's underwear somewhere around 14 or 15 years old. So yes I am saying I believe the EAR in June 1976 was 17 or 18 years old when he committed his first known attack.



I quick deal on me, I do not want to share too much personal info but I will include this. I have worked hundreds of burglaries loads of reports, evidence is my specialty when it comes to break ins, I can tell how the bad guy got in, unlocked window,forced window or door, lock pick, homeowners key, various prying methods and the big one door kick (those are easy to spot). I work real hard discovering and developing physical evidence, latent fingerprints, DNA, fibers and statements. Been doing LE for long time not just burglaries of course but those are important ones to locating sexual home invading predators, NO I do not know everything, I want to know more that is why I'm here to ask smart people questions and opinions and gain insight that I may have never thought of myself and the EAR case is my white whale , like many others on this board I would imagine. I want this man to pay for his crimes, he has caused so much pain and suffering and its not fair to his victims to not know his name.

Luftec takes care to point that LE confirmed that EAR's penis was avg, not small:

"The Sheriff's spokesman Miller, started this small penis thing early in the investigation in interviews with press. I do not know if it was administration approved or not it was done as a tactic to develop interaction with EAR, they wanted to insult him to get something going, since they did not really have much in the way of physical evidence at the time. ... the Department did later admit his penis was considered average and they had in fact embellished or taken the liberty to say it was small.

Just checked Classmates, in fact, JJD went to a 3 year East Sac high school--Folsom (62,63,64). And he is only in the Folsom yearbook his sophomore (or first) year--this could be interesting]

Do you have the dates of these posts (or just the most recent one).  I'm a relative short-timer and don't remember Luftec or if he was banned pre-arrest (I can tell you're implying the pre-JJD-arrest time of the high school post would make it so interesting - but I just want to be sure.) Thanks!

EDIT: tried to look up Luftec's post history myself for that post date, but as a banned member, I guess, he's no longer searchable.  

UPDATE: as OP starsky has admitted, the correct spelling is with two t's, lufttec, and still searchable as a member, last post:  Jul. 7, 2016.

I copied all of them into a file, dated 11/10/2016. I think he was banned at that time, as he had posted throughout 2016. The other EAR Proboard also had many Luftec posts, and he was banned there too.

I also think it's interesting he wrote the following pre-JJD, now that we know JJD's connection to Citrus Heights:

"craig and Marybeth were my case in Sac SO taken from citrus heights mall [better known as Sunrise Mall], my heart still breaks my sister was her sorority sister."

The Sac SO part is obviously a lie, but you have to wonder about the sorority sister part.

Since Deangelo's younger sister was born two or three years after him, she would have been age 31-33 when the 1980 abduction/murder occurred (of Craig Miller and Mary Elizabeth Sowers - she was 21 at the time.) Age 31 seems too old to be in a sorority - perhaps intentional age obfuscation if it indeed was JDD.

Do you remember why Lufttec was banned - if it was public knowledge - or easily surmisable? 

Also agree if Lufttec was not JDD, that is quite a coincidence that his H.S. yearbook details were the same as JDD's - though not impossible to believe.  Do you remember the "point" Lufttec was trying to make in bringing up his yearbook photos.

I thought about that too (the age difference), but then I think sisters of a certain sorority are thought to be sisters of all members of that sorority, older or younger. Don't know why exactly he was banned, but his persistent posts that VR wasn't EAR, made it clear he had an agenda.

His post following his "East Sac three year high school, only pictured once" comment, was this, "so you never know why EAR might not be in year books."

Maybe I'm confused....but luftec mentioned going to a three year high school ( whatever that is ) and Folsom is a standard four year public high school. By the way it's written above, it certainly doesn't sound like luftec was saying that he went there for three years...but that the curriculum was a three year program...as if he went to a middle school or private school that included ninth grade. Maybe he went on to lie...err explain it in a different post...IDK

I remember discussions on here about how several people didn't take high school yearbook photos in one or more years related to local yearbook searches...so I'd assume luftec is referencing that discussion along with emphasizing the average penis size part. That was another tangent on here where many were convinced he had a micro-penis and would've said it even if they had no idea what a micro-penis actually was. It was mentioned by Carol Daly early in the series that he was "average" for anyone that wanted to believe it however much Bill Miller contributed to the myth. The VR and EAR differences he mentioned were probably the majority view at the time. So, I'd assume it's much more likely related to those topical elements than any particular obfuscation from JJD.

At least in 1962, 63, and 64, Folsom HS was a 3 year high school--yearbooks show only sophomores, juniors and seniors. At some point later Folsom HS went to four years. Luftec says, "I went to high school in the East area of Sacramento, in high school..it was a three year high school, I was only in yearbook the first year, I missed the other picture day and did no senior portrait, so only in year book one year...so you never know why EAR might not be in year books." Which means he was in high school (but he does not say Folsom) all three years (missing pictures as a junior, and not doing a portrait as a senior.) But since at that time three year high schools were not uncommon, this could be just a coincidence. If VR and EAR differences were the majority view, then I don't see why Luftec made so many posts declaring the differences. As I recall, in 2016 LE was pushing the differences, especially Shelby, and a large number of posters, including Drifter, held opposite views.

So is Lufttec with two t`s someone different or is your spelling wrong?

My spelling could be wrong. In my notes it's "Luftec". "Luft" is the German word for "air". I have it in my notes that there was another banned poster from 2016 named "AirTech530". Using foul language, he is thought to have been Lufttec. 530 is the area code of Auburn.

If that's the case, it would be interesting to see the history and the prevalence of three year high schools at the time. My guess is that they were much more the temporary exception to the rule possibly due to school closures or opening of a new high school.  I believe Cordova High opened in 1964 but I don't think that would impact Folsom. 1964 is a little before my time, but not that much...I just don't remember three year public high schools other than something like a private school unless there was a specific reason.

IMO, independent of any connection with a "three year high school", Luftec could've easily had 30 posts declaring the VR/EAR differences if there were factions like there were on here previously. For example, there were pro-LE and anti-LE factions that engaged in POV on here as much as anything else. So it might be hard to distinguish something like that from obfuscation. Luftec being vehemently pro or con something wouldn't necessarily have anything to do with what constituted the majority view...I just think it wouldn't be unusual to be adamantly one way or another on the VR/EAR topic just as it wouldn't be unusual to be one way or another about the Danville Papers.

Just guessing, but perhaps you might find a trend toward 3 year high schools in the 60s related to the end of WWII--so you could have this huge influx of students (boomers) starting about 1962/63. The low probability of coincidence isn't so much the 3 year school, it's getting pictured in the yearbook his first year, and not the last two years. I'd say the chances are under 1%.

Yeah, the school situations may be growth-related as that was definitely the boom time of the post-war boomers. I'll just defer to your percentage about how likely or unlikely their yearbook picture timeline is or isn't. Some things can feel predictable on here...As I remember, loljenfoz was closer to just straight crazy and Luftec created a false LE persona where he was caught in a couple lies...which undoubtedly might have included "the reason for my post has already been explained" above IDK. The quoted post would indicate that my B.S. meter might have been firmly in the red at that point. I tend to leave it at that but wouldn't begrudge anyone that wants to try to link it with JJD.

I think it's interesting that Save Mart referenced DeAngelo's occupation as a machinist after his arrest...but the descriptions seemed to indicate that he was a maintenance mechanic. In that capacity, I'd assume he'd have the potential to do engine work and work on all the connected systems with the trucks and possibly have multiple certifications.

Not sure if it’s what you’re already implying, but lufttec specifically posted once that he “loves anagrams” on a music-based post. He even linked an anagram finder tool. I “anagram searched” a few usernames I thought were suspicious but nothing really stood out.
